AgentsKB

AgentsKB is a knowledge layer service that provides persistent, accurate knowledge for AI agents. Its core idea is: models are good at reasoning, but not good at remembering. By connecting to AgentsKB, AI agents no longer guess on specific questions involving APIs, SDKs, and frameworks, but instead directly obtain verified answers.

Purpose

AgentsKB mainly solves the problem that AI agents are prone to errors when answering technical details. For example, when asked "What is PostgreSQL's default max_connections?", a model may give an inaccurate default answer such as "usually about 200"; when asked about "getInitialProps in the Next.js App Router", a model may incorrectly believe it is available in page components, when in fact that method is deprecated and generateMetadata or fetch in Server Components should be used. AgentsKB eliminates such errors by providing verified answers.

Main capabilities

• Provides more than 39,827 curated question-and-answer entries, covering more than 244 technologies, including PostgreSQL, Prisma, Next.js, NextAuth, and others, and it continues to grow.
• Answers are returned in about 40 milliseconds, with no retrieval latency, no hallucinated URLs, and no outdated web results.
• The same question always returns the same answer, ensuring consistency.
• Each answer links to the official source documentation.
• Supports batch questioning: a single call can submit 100 questions, and all answers are returned within 1 second.
• When there is no corresponding answer in the knowledge base, it explicitly returns "unknown" and does not guess.
• For technologies not yet covered, agents can ask questions, and AgentsKB will research from official sources in real time and return a verified answer; once the research is complete, that answer becomes immediately available to all users.
• It is not limited to preloaded domains and can handle questions in any domain, such as code, law, medicine, and so on.

How to use

AgentsKB provides two access modes:

1. MCP mode: suitable for tools that support MCP, such as Claude Code, Cursor, and Cline. Simply add one line to the MCP configuration, and the agent automatically gains access.
2. REST API mode: suitable for any agent and any programming language. The REST API can be called directly.

The service is completely free, with no registration required, no API key required, and no usage limits.

Limitations

• The official materials do not provide more details about pricing, paid plans, platform compatibility, performance guarantees, or specific usage steps.
• For questions that are not yet covered in the knowledge base and for which no answer can be researched in real time, it explicitly returns "unknown".
• The official materials do not explain the update frequency or maintenance mechanism for answers.
