Ribbo AI is an AI agent for customer service, dedicated to automatically answering customer inquiries and handing them over to a human team when it cannot handle them. It can operate on channels such as WhatsApp, web chat, Instagram, Messenger, SMS, and API, with the same agent answering based on the same knowledge and rules, achieving unified omnichannel service.
Main capabilities Ribbo learns from a company's own materials, including websites, PDFs, Word documents, spreadsheets, presentations, plain text, and CSV, among others. It answers based on the company's own prices and policies, can use Data Tools to query order status and account records in the company's own systems, and send records to those systems. When a question is beyond its capabilities or involves sensitive topics, it hands over the complete conversation to a human and creates a ticket in Zendesk, with the conversation transcript attached as an internal note.
How to use Using Ribbo consists of four steps: first, point it to your own content, such as websites, PDFs, price lists, policy documents, and historical tickets; second, shape the agent by setting the tone, what it may promise, what it must refuse, and when to hand over to a human; then test in the Playground the questions customers might ask, review and correct the answers; finally, publish to channels such as WhatsApp, website, Instagram, Messenger, or SMS. All channels share the same agent, so you only need to modify it in one place.
Use cases Ribbo is suitable for customer support in industries such as retail, hospitality, insurance, and automotive services. For example, a customer can ask about the price and stock of car brake pads via WhatsApp, and the agent replies after checking and reserves the item; a hotel guest can request a late checkout, and the agent confirms and notifies the front desk; a restaurant guest can book a table and note dietary requirements; an insurance member asks why the premium increased, and the agent verifies identity, checks the policy, then hands over to a human and creates a ticket in Zendesk. Ribbo is already in use by businesses in 12 countries and can respond around the clock, including outside working hours.
Languages and models Ribbo supports more than 95 languages, and the document language and conversation language do not need to match, so English source material can serve customers writing in Spanish, French, or Arabic. Users can choose the underlying AI model; it currently supports frontier models from Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google, and can be changed at any time. Models are accessed through Amazon Bedrock and other providers, with terms excludingtraining models on user data.
Trust and security Ribbo promises that customer data is not used to train any models, and conversations, documents, and records are used only to answer customers. Each organization's data, credentials, and team access permissions are isolated from one another on the platform, and larger teams can request a dedicated deployment. Every answer includes sources, and every query is logged, ensuring answers are traceable.
Limitations and expansion Ribbo currently supports Zendesk and its own API, with integrations for CRM, stores, calendars, and payments coming soon. In-chat payments on WhatsApp and receipts from your own Gmail are already supported, and these features are about to launch. Ribbo offers a free plan, so users can build an agent, train content, and test before paying.
