CliDeck is a local workspace for running and coordinating multiple AI CLI agents in a single browser window. You can run Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, OpenCode, Pi, and shell sessions simultaneously, group them into projects, track progress, and resume conversations from where you left off. Each session is the agent's actual terminal, with its own tools, configuration, and account. Agents can open their work results directly in CliDeck for you to review.
Main Capabilities
Session Management The interface resembles a WhatsApp conversation list: through message previews, unread counts, and activity times, you can keep up with multiple sessions while working on one. The project feature allows sessions to be grouped by work folder, and sessions can be dragged between projects. Real-time status shows which agents are working, idle, or need your attention, and browser and sound notifications alert you when work is completed.
Resume and History Saved sessions can be reopened, previous conversations can be read, and the last used time of stopped sessions can be viewed. Backup settings are supported, and selected settings, projects, or sessions can be restored.
Search and Prompts
Sessions can be found and their conversation text searched. While catching up, unread sessions can be filtered. Saved prompts can be reused by typing // , and{{session_name}} and {{project_name}} fill in the current context.
Controls Light and dark themes and configurable keyboard shortcuts are provided.
Viewing Agent Artifacts
Agents can create reports, pages, images, and other artifacts, and automatically open them in CliDeck as part of their work. Results are displayed in tabs next to the terminal for you to inspect and provide feedback on. Supported previews include: Markdown, plain text, logs, JSON, CSV tables, HTML, and PDF; images (PNG, JPEG, GIF, WebP) and videos (MP4, WebM); Mermaid diagrams, diffs, charts, and test results. Agents use the clideck show command to open these contents and can update the same preview while revising their work. You can also drag and drop files onto the tab bar yourself.
Other features include: Git changes — inspect edits, branches, and worktree comparisons; Supertonic voice — listen to replies or selected text, with voice models downloaded during setup; Emoji — emoji support in the terminal; smart dictation — optional voice input prompts. You can also build plugins using the plugin SDK.
CliDeck Ask
CliDeck Ask allows agents to send requests to other sessions and receive their replies, including across providers. You set the direction and review the results.
For example: in an FPS project, you flag enemy voice lines that do not match. The character programmer selects the SFX agent from the team, requests replacements, and brings the updates back for you to try. In a LoRA project, you flag poor results in darker scenes. The training admin asks the dataset agent for better examples, retrains, and opens comparison images in CliDeck for you to review. Enter @@ You can find sessions, such as @game/sound. Agents use clideck agents to find teammates and use clideck ask to contact them.
How to use
Requires Node.js 22.12+ and an installed agent CLI. Open http://127.0.0.1:4000, create a project and add sessions, mixing providers as needed. You can also run npx clideck@2。CLIDECK_PORT or PORT to set the port as well. CliDeck binds to localhost and by default stores data in ~/.clideck-next . Agent CLIs use their own network connections.
Development: run npm ci、npm test, then npm start.
Applicable scenarios
Suitable for developers or teams that need to manage and coordinate multiple AI CLI agents simultaneously, especially in complex projects involving multi-agent collaboration, cross-provider communication, and the need to review artifacts generated by agents.
Limitations and notes
The latest v2 automatically imports legacy sessions, projects, and saved prompts. Read the upgrade notes before updating; see session backup and restore to recover saved work. Autopilot has been removed because agents already have sub-agents; mobile control has been removed because the test framework provides its own remote access.
