Purpose
Kuration.ai is an AI-powered B2B research and data enrichment platform whose core positioning is to help users build "their own B2B database" rather than rent a ready-made contact library. It is aimed at manufacturers and brands that sell physical products, for finding distributors, resellers, importers, and installers; it is also aimed at distributors and importers looking for brand agents, sales leaders, and event organizers, marketplaces, agencies, and research teams building lists for others. The company explicitly states that if a customer cannot be found through filters in general-purpose databases such as ZoomInfo, the platform is more suitable.
Main capabilities
The platform claims to provide more than 11 data entry points, including: a general-purpose crawler (extracting exhibitors from trade show directories, sponsor pages, and speaker agendas, retaining booth numbers); PDF and floor plan parsing (reading chamber of commerce directories, post-show reports, halal registrations, and government gazettes, with OCR support); CSV upload (finding company websites and named decision-makers with verified emails based on company names); Google Maps search (returning factories, packers, distributors, etc. by city and business type, retaining phone numbers and websites); Yellow Pages and Yelp directory scraping; a Chrome extension (capturing LinkedIn or Sales Navigator search results for which the user already has permissions); LinkedIn connections import (turning first-degree connections into a real-time list); hiring signals (discovering companies entering new markets through Indeed and LinkedIn Jobs, rerun weekly); API and Sandbox (JSON HTTP API, hosted CSV, Apify actor); AlexAI deep research (reading government department websites and public pages, mapping budget holders); and ready-to-use scored lists.
The platform's data processing workflow is: describe the ideal customer profile (one natural language sentence) -> AlexAI understands the intent -> researches multiple public and commercial data sources -> verifies evidence (cross-checks, marking pass, warning, or fail) -> enriches companies and contacts (email, title, company profile, buying signals) -> deduplicates and merges -> generates a clean, exportable dataset -> reaches out via email, LinkedIn, and WhatsApp and manages replies in a unified inbox -> AI agents maintain the data on a schedule to avoid staleness.
Other capabilities include: Deep Search (enter a closed-won company and scan 200+ sources in parallel to find similar companies, with a citation attached to each result);People Search (filter decision-makers by job title, seniority, department, and tenure, and waterfall-search and verify work emails and mobile numbers through providers such as ContactOut, Apollo, Hunter, RocketReach, LeadMagic, and Lusha); extract structured lists from any website and PDF; scoring and segmentation (LLM scores against the ICP and provides reasoning, supports learning after manual corrections, and allows hard exclusion rules to be set); integrations (two-way sync with HubSpot, Salesforce, Attio, Pipedrive, and Zoho; sending via Smartlead, Instantly, Lemlist, HeyReach, and Reply.io; Sheets, Slack, Webhooks, REST API); waterfall enrichment (emails and phone numbers go through 15+ providers, returning the first verified result first).
How to use
Users describe their ideal customer in natural language, for example "construction companies in the Gulf region with projects over $50 million under construction" or "family packaging factories in Vietnam that started exporting this year." The platform does not require writing filters or prompt engineering. Data can come in via CSV upload, URL paste, PDF upload, API calls, Chrome extension capture, and more. Results can be exported, pushed to a CRM or sequencing tool, and reached via email, LinkedIn, and WhatsApp. An official free start is available, no credit card required, and after signing up AlexAI can continue from what the user previously sent.
Use cases
Suitable for manufacturers and brands selling physical products looking for distributors, dealers, importers, and installers; distributors and importers looking for brands; founders and sales leaders targeting narrow, offline, or non-English markets; event organizers, marketplaces, agencies, and research teams building lists. Typical examples include large-project construction companies in the Gulf region, fleet operators in Southeast Asia with more than 50 refrigerated trucks, newly exporting family packaging factories in Vietnam, and every exhibitor and booth decision-maker at a trade show.
Limitations
The official documentation explicitly states it is not suitable for: companies selling software and services to other software and services companies (already covered by general databases); users who want a pre-built index of 50 million contacts; consumer businesses (the platform is entirely B2B); and teams looking for a CRM rather than filling CRM data. Custom Research Tool does not read social platform profiles, because the relevant websites block automated access, and only uses their search snippets as supportingevidence. Each tool shows its own credit consumption within the app; some pricing information (such as mobile numbers as low as $0.15 each, and the free start including 20 companies and 1,500 credits) comes from official text, while other prices are not yet available.
