Breeze Assistant

Breeze Assistant is a conversational AI assistant from HubSpot that helps users on desktop generate content, summarize records, prepare for meetings, and complete various tasks within their HubSpot account. It supports saving prompts, organizing related conversations into projects, and storing preferences as memories, so replies are more consistent and better tailored to needs. Users can start a chat from the top navigation bar, add context (files, connected apps), manage chats and prompts, share artifacts (such as HTML pages, text documents, PPTX), view cited sources, and manage stored memories. Before use, access must be enabled in AI settings; some features depend on a connected calendar, app, or project and are subject to user permissions. Content generation has a rate limit: up to 100 times per account within a rolling one-minute window. Search in connected apps (such as Gmail) does not support natural language filtering and requires the app's own query syntax. Some features (such as creating agents, using workflows, summarizing feedback survey responses, and generating quotes) require specific subscriptions.

About this tool

Breeze Assistant is a conversational AI assistant provided by HubSpot, designed to help users complete various tasks within their HubSpot account. According to the official documentation, it can be used to generate content, summarize records, prepare for meetings, and complete tasks across the account, and is currently supported on desktop.

Main capabilities

  • Content generation: Can generate content in editors (such as blogs, pages, emails) or other tools that generate text (such as CRM records, segment descriptions).
  • Record summarization and meeting preparation: Can summarize associated activities and, after connecting a calendar, prepare for upcoming meetings through the "Meetings" card.
  • Prompt management: Supports saving prompts for reuse, organizing related conversations into projects, and storing preferences as memories, making replies more consistent and relevant.
  • Adding context: Can add files from your computer or HubSpot to prompts, and can also use connected apps.
  • Artifact sharing: Artifacts are saved outputs, such as HTML pages or text documents, that can be accessed beyond a single conversation. All artifact types can be shared with other users in the HubSpot account; PPTX or HTML artifacts can be shared publicly via a read-only URL, with the option to set a password.
  • Citations and sources: Replies may include citations showing the source of information (such as records, connected apps, saved memories), and users can view the citation pop-up or the "Sources" section.
  • Memory management: Breeze Assistant can remember important information about users, such as name, job title, tone, writing style, and recurring instructions, and users can add, delete, or view memories.
  • Conversation history references: Conversation history is enabled by default, and Breeze Assistant can automatically reference previous chats when relevant, or manually reference past conversations through natural language.

Use cases

  • Sales: preparing for meetings, summarizing notes, generating content, etc.
  • Marketing: generating content in editors such as blogs, pages, and emails.
  • Service: summarizing feedback survey responses (requires a Service Hub Professional or Enterprise subscription), etc.

Limitations and considerations

  • Before use, "Allow users to access Breeze Assistant" must be enabled in AI settings.
  • Features that depend on connected accounts, apps, or projects must first be set up on the desktop. For example, preparing for meetings requires connecting a calendar; using apps requires connecting apps; using projects requires creating and managing projects.
  • User permissions determine which actions can be performed.
  • Content generation limits: a maximum of 100 per account within a rolling one-minute window. Each content generation request counts as one, regardless of content length. For example, generating a blog post and then requesting a rewrite of one sentence in it counts as two requests. The limit continuously resets as older requests expire.
  • Search for connected apps (such as Gmail) does not support natural language filtering. For example, when searching Gmail, you should use the Gmail search query m:john is:unread older_than:1m, rather than "give me all of John's unread emails from last month."
  • Some features require a subscription: creating agents or using workflows requires a Professional or Enterprise subscription; summarizing feedback survey responses requires a Service Hub Professional or Enterprise subscription; generating quotes and using (the document is truncated here) requires a Revenue Hub Professional or Enterprise subscription.
