About this tool

AgentSeal MCP is AgentSeal's MCP server implementation, used to provide tamper-proof audit logs for AI agents. Its core mechanism is a SHA-256 hash chain: each agent operation record is hashed with SHA-256, and that hash includes the hash of the previous record, thereby forming a chained structure. Once any record is modified, all subsequent hashes change, and a verification tool can immediately detect and locate the tampering.

Its main capabilities include three items:

  1. Record agent operations: call after important operations to write the operation content and reason into the audit log as an encrypted chained record, returning the sequence number and SHA-256 hash to confirm that the record has been added to the chain.
  2. Query historical operations: find previously recorded operations from the audit log, used to check operations that have been executed or review past decisions.
  3. Verify chain integrity: check whether the hash chain is complete, returning the number of verified entries and whether the chain is intact.

How to use:

  • In Claude Desktop, add the server configuration to claude_desktop_config.json, save it, and restart Claude Desktop.
  • In Cursor or other MCP hosts, use the same configuration and fill in the API key.
  • Environment variables are used to configure parameters such as the API key.
  • If you need to integrate directly without MCP, you can run pip install agentseal-sdk and refer to the agentseal-sdk project.

Applicable scenarios: scenarios where it is necessary to prove to customers that the agent actually performed the operations it claims, such as compliance audits, accountability tracing, agent behavior verification, etc.

Limitations and notes: registration at agentseal.io is required before use, and the official description is that it is free to use. The repository does not provide more detailed pricing, platform support scope, or performance data, and none is currently provided.
