Agent.email is an AI agent that uses email as its interaction interface. Its core purpose is to let users hand off work in email threads to AI without leaving their existing mailbox. Users simply forward or CC any email thread to agent@agent.email and explain what they need, and the agent will read that thread, the attachments, and the historical emails the user has previously sent to it, complete the task, and reply in the same thread. The entire process requires no registration, login, or installation of any app.
Its main capabilities include: summarizing long email threads and extracting decisions, owners, and to-dos; reading PDFs, contracts, and spreadsheets and explaining the terms in plain language; drafting replies in the user's voice and placing them in the drafts folder; managing the calendar and sending meeting invitations after the user approves; setting reminders and resurfacing the relevant thread at the specified time; remembering threads the user has previously forwarded so terms or information can be reused; and searching the web and answering questions with source links.
It is very simple to use: the user forwards or CCs an email thread to agent@agent.email and explains the task to be completed, and the agent reads it and replies in the same thread. It only processes content the user actively forwards or CCs, does not access the user's full inbox, and does not use the user's email to train models. It supports any email provider, including Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail, Superhuman, and others.
Use cases include: quickly understanding lengthy email discussions, reviewing contracts or documents, drafting replies, scheduling meetings, follow-up reminders, looking up information, and more. The service is currently free, with a paid version coming soon. The underlying model is Anthropic's Claude.
