BotIndex MCP Server is an MCP server that provides signal intelligence for AI agents, developed by Cyberweasel777 and open-sourced on GitHub. It integrates with MCP-supporting clients such as Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, Cline, and Continue.dev through the MCP protocol, enabling agents to access real-time data such as sports odds, cryptocurrency correlations, and token launches.
Main capabilities include: sports intelligence, cryptocurrency and token launches, agent commerce, advanced analytics, and more. Free endpoints can be used without a wallet, such as botindex_discover (complete endpoint directory and pricing), Zora trending tokens, Hyperliquid funding arbitrage, and more. A free key allows 100 requests per day on free endpoints; premium endpoints return an upgrade or payment prompt.
Usage: point to npx botindex-mcp-server in the MCP client configuration. For example, add the corresponding configuration in the Claude desktop configuration file, or add it in .cursor/mcp.json. Windsurf, Cline, Continue.dev, and others use the same pattern.
Payment mechanism: BotIndex uses Coinbase's x402 protocol (HTTP 402 Payment Required). No API key, no registration, no rate limit tiers; the wallet is the identity. Each wallet has 50 free premium requests; simply send the X-Wallet: 0x... request header, and the response will include X-BotIndex-Free-Remaining to indicate the remaining count. After exceeding 50, x402 payment is automatically enabled. To enable automatic payment, configure a funded Base wallet and the @x402/client SDK for the agent.
In addition, a Pro key ($29/month) is also available, providing unlimited access to all endpoints without the x402 payment threshold. The upgrade link is https://api.botindex.dev/api/botindex/keys/register?plan=pro。
Verifiable agent operations (AAR): Every BotIndex API response carries a signed Agent Action Receipt in the X-AAR-Receipt header, using an Ed25519 signature, proving what the agent requested, what was returned, and how much was spent. It can be independently verified without a trusted intermediary; privacy-preserving, with inputs/outputs processed through SHA-256 hashing; compatible with Mastercard Verifiable Intent; compatible with Aztec ZK, enabling on-chain verification without revealing content.
