About this tool

IntentKit is an open-source, self-hostable, cloud-native agent cluster for managing a collaborative team of AI agents.

Purpose Current AI agents broadly fall into two approaches: one is Local-First, serving as personal assistants or experimental tools, but often requiring expensive hardware and extensive local permissions; the other is Cloud-Native, similar to modern web applications, running in the cloud with extremely low local resource consumption, no maintenance required, and the ability to complete tasks with high reliability. IntentKit targets the latter, providing support for scenarios that need a robust cloud-native solution.

Key Capabilities

  • Cloud-Native: Pursues extreme resource efficiency.
  • Secure by Design: Agents fundamentally cannot access any of the user's keys.
  • Collaborative AI: Multiple agents can invoke and interact with one another.
  • Ready to Use Out of the Box: Already configured and ready to use directly.
  • Crypto-Friendly: Optional integration with Web3 and blockchain.
  • Social Media Integration: Can seamlessly connect to social platforms.
  • Extensible Skill System: New capabilities can be added easily.

How to Use It is officially recommended to consult the Documentation before starting, and to read the Deployment Guide for deployment. In addition to deploying IntentKit yourself, it can also be used in the following ways:

  • As a Python library: Import and extend IntentKit, or use it to add agent cluster capabilities to existing projects.
  • Via API: Regardless of the deployment method used, external applications can interact with agents through the built-in API endpoints.

Use Cases Suitable for users and projects that want to run a collaborative team of AI agents in a cloud-native way, prioritize key security, need multiple agents to invoke one another, and may involve Web3 or social media integration.

Limitations and Notes Because AI is developing rapidly, the project currently does not accept code contributions submitted via Pull Request; however, feature requests and bug reports in GitHub Issues are very welcome. The project uses the MIT License; see the LICENSE file for details. Information on specific fees, pricing, platform support scope, and similar details is not yet available.
