Email Infrastructure for AI Agents

About this tool

Broodnet is an email infrastructure platform for AI agents, with the core goal of assigning a real, usable email address to each AI agent, addressing agents' need for email when registering for services, receiving verification codes, receiving notifications, and coordinating with one another.

In terms of use, Broodnet enables agents to use independent email addresses to register for third-party services such as GitHub, Linear, and Stripe, avoiding reliance on personal email or manual inboxes, thereby reducing the risks of account bans, being flagged as spam, and identity information leakage.

Main capabilities include: providing each agent with an independent, persistent, isolated inbox; supporting receipt of email from any sender without configuring DNS or a mail server; emails retaining complete history after deployment, restarts, and environment changes; and inbound email passing through spam, phishing, and malware filtering. Outbound email is restricted to within the account by default, and sending externally requires recipient consent or an existing recent inbound email thread, thereby preventing agents from sending email to strangers. The platform also supports access via IMAP, POP3, SMTP, and CLI, with MCP support coming soon. Paid plans provide signature-based HTTP callbacks that can respond to organization-level or mailbox-level events.

In terms of usage, users can start with the free plan and scale as needed after verifying the integration. Bring-your-own-domain is supported to customize agent email addresses, and users can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time. The mail servers are hosted in Europe and comply with GDPR requirements. The platform states that it does not read, analyze, or sell mailbox contents.

Applicable scenarios include: provisioning email addresses for agents in bulk to register for third-party services, automating sending and receiving email in CI environments, sandboxes, and testing frameworks, agents coordinating tasks via email and reporting to users, and monitoring agent inboxes.

In terms of limitations, outbound email is restricted by default and must meet the conditions of consent or a recent inbound thread; MCP support has not yet been officially launched; and some advanced features (such as HTTP callbacks) are limited to paid plans. The platform plans to add features such as persistent key-value storage, vector storage, real-time messaging between agents, and workflow assignment in the future, which are still under construction.
