About this tool

Kvery.io is an AI-powered SQL editor for database management and automation that automatically turns SQL queries into tables, charts, REST APIs, and dashboards, with no backend code or extra tools needed, helping developers quickly deliver data features.

Purpose: Developers and teams use Kvery.io to skip backend boilerplate code and quickly build data-driven applications and dashboards starting from a single query.

Main capabilities:

  • AI SQL generation: Generate precise SQL queries via natural language.
  • Automatic table creation: Turn SQL results into responsive tables with sorting, filtering, and pagination.
  • Dynamic charts: Generate interactive charts and visualizations from data, with customizable themes and export.
  • REST API generation: Automatically create secure REST APIs with documentation and authentication from SQL queries.
  • Real-time scheduling: Run SQL queries on a schedule using CRON-like syntax, and notify results via email or webhook.
  • Enterprise-grade security: Provides 2FA, IP whitelisting, role-based access control, and comprehensive audit logs.
  • Multi-database support: Can connect to MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, etc., with direct connections or secure SSH tunnels.
  • Mobile apps: Native iOS and Android apps that can save dashboards, automatically refresh data, and directly share reports.
  • Advanced query editor: Multi-tab interface with syntax highlighting, autocomplete, and intelligent database schema browsing.
  • Dashboard builder: Drag-and-drop dashboard creation with unlimited queries, custom layouts, and sharing.
  • Team collaboration: Multi-workspace support, granular permissions, user roles, and collaborative query development.
  • Performance monitoring: Real-time monitoring of performance metrics and slow query detection.
  • MCP / AI agent integration: Built-in Model Context Protocol server that can connect Claude, Cursor, n8n, or any AI agent to search and run queries.
  • Email and webhook alerts: Notify via email, Slack, or any webhook when scheduled queries complete or thresholds are reached.
  • Export and integrations: Results can be exported as CSV, JSON, or Excel and pushed to the tools your team already uses.

How to use:

  1. Connect a database (direct connection or SSH tunnel supported).
  2. Write SQL queries, or use natural language to have AI generate SQL.
  3. Kvery.io automatically generates tables, charts, REST APIs, and dashboards.
  4. You can set up scheduled runs, notifications, and permissions.
  5. Through Profile → MCP / API Keys, copy the configuration into your MCP client, and then let AI agents search, read, and execute queries; tokens support optional scope tags and read-only mode, automatically expire after 90 days, and can be revoked at any time. The same token can also be used for REST API endpoints.

Use cases: Developers quickly building data applications, automating reports, collaborative team querying, viewing dashboards on mobile, operating SQL through AI agents, etc.

Limitations and notes:

  • The free version provides 3 queries and includes all core features, with no credit card required.
  • Paid plans grow by number of queries and seats; the team plan includes 100 SQL queries, and the enterprise plan includes 250 SQL queries.
  • Basic SQL knowledge is helpful but not required; natural language can be used to generate SQL.
  • The system does not store actual database data, only profile information, encrypted database connection details, and queries.
  • Supports MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, etc., with more databases continuously being added.
  • Provides a REST API that can automatically generate APIs from SQL queries.
  • The mobile app supports saving and switching dashboards, auto-refresh intervals, deep link sharing, haptic feedback, and pull-to-refresh.
  • Database connections are stored using AES-256 encryption.
  • Supports SOC 2 compliance.
  • Provides migration assistance and import tools.
  • The free version has community support, paid versions provide email support, team and enterprise versions have priority support, and the enterprise version has dedicated support and an SLA guarantee.
  • Specific pricing figures, enterprise custom integration fees, etc. are not provided in the materials.
