Purpose
bilibili-mcp-js is a Bilibili video search server based on the Model Context Protocol (MCP). This server provides a simple API interface that allows users to search Bilibili video content, and is suitable for scenarios that require accessing Bilibili data through the MCP protocol. The project also provides LangChain invocation examples and test scripts. The LangChain example code is referenced from mcp-langchain-ts-client.
Main capabilities
- Retrieve popular Bilibili content (overall popular, must-watch for newcomers, rankings, site-wide music chart)
- Retrieve detailed Bilibili video information (supports BV number or AV number)
- Retrieve UP host information (basic information, follower count, following count, etc.)
- Anime schedule (anime broadcast information within a time range)
Usage
Runtime requirement: Node.js >= 20.12.0. It must be compiled before use: first run npm run build, then change the "args": ["d:\your-path\bilibili-mcp-js\dist\index.js"] in the configuration to the path of your built dist folder. If you want to run the LangChain example, please configure the LLM model first and modify the .\example.ts file. The project thanks HQHC for the published npm package and provides a hosted deployment, which can be used on Fronteir AI.
Applicable scenarios
Suitable for developers or users who need to integrate Bilibili video search, popular content retrieval, video and UP host information queries, and anime schedule queries in an environment that supports the MCP protocol.
Limitations
Only the functions explicitly listed above are provided; other functions, charging methods, prices, platform support scope, and specific usage effects are not yet provided.
