ClawAIMail is email infrastructure designed for AI agents, with the core goal of enabling AI agents to have their own email addresses and to fully control the sending, receiving, and management of emails programmatically. It is aimed at developers who need to integrate reliable email primitives into agent workflows.
Main capabilities
- REST API: Send, receive, search, and manage emails through a simple JSON API.
- MCP server: Provides a first-class Model Context Protocol server that can be used directly by Claude, Cursor, and other MCP-compatible clients.
- WebSocket streaming: Pushes email events to agents in real time.
- Webhooks: Triggers HTTP callbacks when emails are received, delivery status changes, and other events occur.
- Custom domains: You can use your own domain or use an @clawaimail.com address.
- SDKs: Provides official Node.js and Python SDKs for quick integration.
How to use When integrating via MCP, add the corresponding configuration to Claude Desktop's MCP configuration (claude_desktop_config.json), or add it to .cursor/mcp.json. After configuration is complete, the agent can directly call tools such as send_email, read_inbox, search_emails, and create_mailbox without writing additional code. ClawAIMail also supports self-hosting to gain full control over the email infrastructure. The default server address is http://localhost:3000。生产部署指南(Docker、Railway、Fly.io)见自托管文档。完整 The API reference is located at clawaimail.com/docs/api.
Use cases Suitable for developers who need to handle email in agent workflows, for example letting agents automatically send notifications, read and search inboxes, manage email threads, and use email tools directly in clients such as Claude and Cursor via MCP.
Limitations and notes Self-hosted deployment is free and unlimited; see clawaimail.com/pricing for pricing details. The project uses the MIT license; see LICENSE for details. Other specific features, billing details, platform support, or results are not yet provided.
