Machina Sports is a generative AI platform that provides sports intelligence for humans and AI agents, positioned to turn sports data into fan experiences, matchday content, and team tools.
Purpose The platform is built around sports scenarios and mainly serves three types of users: broadcast media, sports betting and prediction markets, and teams and leagues. Its goal is to apply AI to every part of sports, from content production to fan engagement.
Main capabilities The platform includes four core products:
- Factory: Turns requirement briefs into reviewable product previews. Users describe the audience, task, inputs, outputs, and constraints in natural language, and Factory generates app or agent previews based on approved sources, organized around channels and engagement methods.
- Studio: Used to configure and run the agents and workflows behind sports products, keeping sources, campaigns, failures, and usage visible to operations teams.
- Arena: Provides structured task and criteria definitions for comparing different configurations and supporting human decisions with inspectable evidence.
- Router: Separates the model-facing request paths of products from hardcoded model choices, allowing teams to configure providers and profiles for routing based on tasks and operational constraints.
How to use it A project starts from a specific useful moment: clarifying whom it serves, what should be produced, which sources may be used, where it will be reviewed, and how the results reach their destination. The platform supports connecting fan and CRM data, news and social sources, owned media, live sports data streams, and internal knowledge. The review process is defined by the team for each workflow, and editors, compliance, or operations leads can inspect and approve outputs before delivery.
Applicable scenarios
- Broadcast media: Provide story context before producers go on air, prepare talking points and content drafts, with editors retaining control.
- Sports betting and prediction markets: Help fans understand matches rather than just odds, and create previews and explanatory content according to compliance and review rules.
- Teams and leagues: Keep fans closely connected to the club after the final whistle, and create recaps and conversations from club content and match data.
Limitations The data coverage, timeliness, and permitted uses available to the platform follow the sources configured for each deployment. Factory currently offers a free trial that includes 100K weighted credits, which can be started at factory.machina.gg/c, or you can book a guided build around a specific app or agent. The World Cup 2026 APIs showcase is a read-only archive of a completed event build, including API specifications and developer preview MCP documentation. The MCP documentation currentlyapplies only to the World Cup Intelligence showcase and is in developer preview. For general integrations, the Machina SDK and published APIs can be used, and Sports Skills is the open-source developer path.
