Purpose
Agent Central connects the AI assistant you are already using (such as Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor, and other MCP clients) to your Amazon Seller Central account, providing Seller Central and Amazon Ads data through a hosted MCP server.
Main Capabilities
A single connection endpoint https://mcp.agentcentral.to/mcp covers:
- Amazon Ads: Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, DSP, Stores.
- Seller Central: Sales and traffic, orders, inventory, inbound shipments, catalog, fees, settlements, fulfillment.
As a result, the AI can answer questions that require both advertising and Seller Central data, such as calculating TACOS by product, and profit after deducting Amazon fees and advertising spend.
Agent Central retains Amazon Ads historical data (as long as the account remains connected), whereas Amazon's own Ads reports can only go back 60 to 95 days (depending on the ad type). Synced Seller Central historical data is retained while the account is active, so after accumulating a year of data, the assistant can compare any period with the same period last year on the same basis (by campaign, search term, or ASIN).
Agent Central covers 23 Amazon marketplaces, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, and Poland, all included in one subscription.
Agency use across client accounts is supported: each client has an independent workspace, an independent Amazon connection and key, one client's key cannot read another client's data, and teams can switch between client workspaces in one dashboard.
The hosted endpoint provides 177 domain-scoped tools covering advertising, inventory and orders, catalog, finance, and fulfillment, plus utility tools for a total of 182 tools.
How to Use
- Create an account at agentcentral.to. No credit card is required for the trial.
- Connect Seller Central and Amazon Ads. Each will open Amazon's own authorization page, and you do not need to share your Amazon password.
- Create a key in the dashboard. You can choose read-only for analysis, or allow only the changes required by your workflow.
- Add it to your assistant:
- Claude: Copy the key's Connector URL, open Customize > Connectors in Claude, select Add custom connector, and paste it.
- Claude Code: Connect Seller Central to Claude Code according to the quick start.
- ChatGPT: In the ChatGPT web version, open Apps, then Advanced Settings, turn on Developer Mode, select Create App, paste the Connector URL, and set authentication to No auth. For read-only access, ChatGPT can also connect to https://mcp.agentcentral.to/mcp。
- Other MCP clients: refer to the corresponding instructions.
Note: never put API keys or Connector URLs in public repositories, chats, or issues.
What you can ask (examples)
- "Which search terms spent more than $20 in the past 30 days but had no orders?"
- "Which products have fewer than 30 days of coverage, and how much inventory is in AWD?"
- "Rank my products by profit after Amazon fees and ad spend last month. My cost of goods is in the attached spreadsheet."
- "Compare ad spend, sales, and TACOS by ASIN for October this year and October last year."
- "Did I win the Buy Box on my top five products today?"
- "Which campaigns had setting changes this week, and how did spend change after each change?"
Change safety
- Use Amazon's own login. Agent Central is approved to use the Selling Partner API and Amazon Ads API, reading your account through these APIs, never by scraping.
- Scoped keys. Keys can be read-only, limited to specific domains (such as ads or inventory), or narrowed to a single tool, and can be revoked at any time.
- Preview by default. Change tools return a preview of the requested change (including the current value at the time of editing); no change is made to Amazon without an explicit commit carrying an idempotency key.
- Audit history. Every committed change is recorded, and edits to existing settings record the old and new values.
For more information, see agentcentral.to/security.
Facts, not advice
Agent Central returns Amazon's data, source fields, deterministic metrics with explicit formulas, and audited write results. It is up to your assistant to reason and decide what to do.
Local stdio stub (introspection only)
This repository provides a minimal stdio MCP server so that catalogs and clients can list the public tool catalog without an Agent Central account. It does not execute tool calls; every call returns a pointer to the hosted endpoint and setup guide. This stub is not published to npm. If a catalog or client needs local stdio introspection, clone this repository or use Docker. For actual use, configure the hosted endpoint described above.
