Video Size Reducer

AI video

Video Size Reducer is a video compression tool that runs in the browser, compressing a single video to a specified size, with presets for platforms such as Discord, Gmail, WhatsApp, Reels, TikTok, Shorts, and X, as well as custom MB targets. Video-R1

AI video

Video-R1 is a research project exploring the enhancement of video reasoning capabilities in multimodal large language models (MLLMs), claimed to be the first work to systematically introduce the R1 paradigm into video reasoning, inspired by the success of DeepSeek-R1 in eliciting reasoning capabilities through rule-based reinforcement learning. The project proposes T-GRPO—which introduces temporal modeling on top of GRPO to explicitly promote temporal reasoning—and constructs two datasets: Video-R1-COT-165k for SFT cold start and Video-R1-260k for RL training, both containing image and video data. Its Video-R1-7B model performs excellently on multiple video reasoning benchmarks, for example achieving 35.8% accuracy on the video spatial reasoning benchmark VSI-bench, surpassing the commercial proprietary model GPT-4o; and achieving 36.5% accuracy on the Video-Holmes benchmark, surpassing o4-mini (29.9%) and Gemini-2.0-Flash (30.6%). The project supports Qwen2.5-VL, vLLM training and inference, image-video mixed training, and multiple answer output types, and provides a complete pipeline from datasets, COT annotation, SFT training to RL training and evaluation.

VideoPoet by Google

AI video

VideoPoet is a large language model approach proposed by the Google research team for zero-shot video generation. It can transform any autoregressive language model or large language model into a high-quality video generator. The core idea is to use the MAGVIT V2 video tokenizer and SoundStream audio tokenizer to convert images, videos, and audio into discrete codes in a unified vocabulary, and then have the language model autoregressively predict the next video or audio token. The model supports a variety of tasks such as text-to-video, image-to-video, video continuation, video inpainting and outpainting, video stylization, and video-to-audio, and can combine them into zero-shot capabilities. The default output is about 2 seconds of video, and the duration can also be extended through second-by-second prediction. It also supports square or portrait aspect ratios and generating matching audio for input videos. This page mainly showcases research results and examples, and does not provide a public product entry point, pricing method, or usage steps.

VideoSnap

AI video

VideoSnap is a free video conversion tool that runs locally in the browser and requires no file uploads. It supports converting between MP4, WebM, MOV, AVI, MKV, M4V, MPEG, and 3GP, and can also extract audio into five formats: MP3, AAC, WAV, FLAC, and OGG. Video output can also have its resolution and quality adjusted. Because the conversion process is completed within the browser sandbox, source files are not uploaded to a server, upload bandwidth is not consumed, and no account registration is required. Output files contain no watermarks or brand marks. In addition to conversion, it also offers tool directions such as video compression, trimming, reversing, and split-screen. After the first visit, the browser caches processing resources, so some features can still be used on a weak or disconnected network, but opening the page for the first time, refreshing, or loading a new tool still requires an internet connection.
