valet-fs

AI security

ValetFS is an open-source tool designed to keep API keys on your phone, lending them to AI agents on your computer only temporarily when needed, with keys existing only in memory and never touching disk. It consists of a daemon written in Go and an optional mobile app, and through an end-to-end encrypted peer-to-peer connection, it exposes short-lived tokens and keys to AI agents with the user's permission, returning them once the work is done. When the user closes the app, the daemon starts a grace timer, and once the timer ends, it unmounts and wipes the memory. This approach avoids putting keys into dotfiles, environment variables, or config directories, thereby reducing the risk of theft via prompt injection. ValetFS provides the command-line tool valetfs, supporting commands such as ls, cat, and exec, where exec can inject keys directly into a child process's environment without writing to output, reducing the risk of leakage. The project uses the MIT license; the iOS app is an optional paid convenience item, and access is not sold.

VectoreeAI

Other AI tools

VectoreeAI is a backend cloud service platform for AI coding agents, designed to provide backend capabilities such as models, authentication, databases, and storage for coding agents. Developers can install the Vectoree skill, log in via the CLI and link a project, and then call an OpenAI-compatible model gateway. The service is pay-as-you-go with no monthly fee; new accounts can receive $5 in credit after successfully completing CLI linking. The platform provides a console covering four major modules: model gateway, user authentication, Postgres database, and file storage. A single project key can be used across providers, and database tables and file uploads can be managed from the dashboard or CLI. The current release of the platform only includes the above core features, and does not include templates, a skills hub, or deployment features.
