Purpose
VectoreeAI positions itself as "giving coding agents a backend." It provides AI agents with the infrastructure needed for delivery, including capabilities such as model invocation, user authentication, databases, and storage, with the goal of covering the entire process from demo to production with one cloud platform.
Main capabilities
According to official materials, the core capabilities launched in this release are divided into four modules:
- Model Gateway: A single project key can be used across providers. You can browse the model catalog, probe from the CLI, and call chat completions server-side. The gateway is compatible with the OpenAI interface.
- Authentication: Provides email and Google login for application users. Authentication methods can be configured in the dashboard, and sessions are stored in Vectoree.
- Database: Provides Postgres tables, schemas, and SQL capabilities, which can be managed through the dashboard or
vectoree dboperations. Agents can create tables without starting a server. - Storage: Provides buckets and file upload functionality for avatars, assets, and user content, with the option to upload as public or private.
How to use
- Sign up and create a project.
- Install the Vectoree skill and
@vectoree/cli. - Log in via the CLI and link a project. New accounts can receive a $5 welcome credit after successful CLI login and linking.
- Choose a model, then call the gateway or create a table.
- You can point Codex to Vectoree: the official instructions support "switching Codex CLI (or the ChatGPT desktop app) to Model Gateway."
After coding agents install the skill, they can run atomic CLI commands to complete operations. The official page notes that agents can even complete login and linking before the page finishes scrolling.
Billing and limits
- Pay per token, no monthly fee.
- A $5 welcome credit is given after CLI login and linking.

Limitations of this release
The official documentation clearly states that this release only includes the above live features, and does not include templates, a skills hub, or deployment features.
