Supervisor-Skills

AI search

Supervisor-Skills is an open-source project initiated by Yu-Yu Luo, Assistant Professor at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou), distilling ten years of doctoral supervision experience into directly callable AI Skills, positioned as an "AI Research Co-Supervisor." The project adopts a dual-track architecture of Guide (theoretical guide) + Skills (executable AI skills): on one hand, it provides systematic guides on research and writing along with accompanying PDF handouts; on the other, it distills research experience into structured Prompt/Skill files that can be imported into AI assistants such as Claude, DeepSeek, and Kimi. Its goal covers the full paper lifecycle from Idea conception to paper submission, helping graduate students address the "last-mile problems" such as the disconnect between theory and practice, scarce guidance resources, confusion before submission, and the "capability gap" in the AI era. In its initial release, the project covered the full paper lifecycle with seven anchor skills, and has since iterated continuously: v2.1 added three skills—paper-writer (evidence-gated paper body writing), paper-polish (language polishing faithful to the original meaning), and deep-research (survey-level literature research); intro-drafter was upgraded to body-text output; the evaluation and review skills introduced disciplinary paradigm routing; in addition, a drawio-reconstruction skill was added, which can rebuild reference images into editable Draw.io with one click. The project is open-sourced under the CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license, and non-commercial sharing and adaptation with attribution are welcome.

Surfn

AI customer service

Surfn is a tool for creating conversational AI agents without writing code. Users can use websites, files, YouTube videos, product links, FAQs, and other content as training material, enabling the agent to answer visitor questions instantly 24 hours a day based on that content, while presenting itself with a branded tone and image. The agent can not only answer questions but also perform tasks as required, such as asking questions to qualify leads, collecting prospect information, booking calls, and delivering videos, product introductions, or customer testimonials at the right moment, helping improve engagement, lead generation, sales, and booking conversions. The agent can be shared via a dedicated link (in the form surfn.ai/@yourname) on social platforms, email newsletters, direct messages, courses, or communities, and can also be embedded in a website. Users can view conversation records and insights in the dashboard and sync leads and conversation records to Google Sheets, a CRM, or other tools connected through Zapier. It is suitable for creators, coaches, course operators, agencies, and enterprises for use cases such as customer acquisition, conversion, customer support, and lead qualification. The official page does not provide specific fee or pricing information.
