What is TripStar
TripStar is an AI cultural tourism agent application based on the HelloAgents framework that solves the information overload problem in travel planning through LLM and multi-agent collaboration. The tool deeply integrates real travel note data from Xiaohongshu, intelligently extracts attractions, pitfall-avoidance guides and reservation reminders, and combines weather, hotels and route planning to generate a complete guide. TripStar provides map visualization, budget breakdowns and immersive AI travel companion Q&A, presented with a dark glassmorphism interface, making travel planning as efficient and worry-free as having a personal butler.
Main features of TripStar
-
AI intelligent itinerary generation: Based on a multi-agent collaboration architecture including the journey controller, weather butler and hotel specialist, it automatically analyzes user needs and generates a complete travel plan including elements such as daily itineraries, transportation methods and visit durations.
-
Deep Xiaohongshu integration: Through SSR it scrapes real user travel note content, intelligently refines it via LLM to obtain attraction reviews, pitfall-avoidance guides and real photos, and automatically identifies attractions requiring advance reservations and labels the reservation channels.
-
Budget breakdown management: Intelligently aggregates multi-dimensional expense data such as tickets, dining, accommodation and transportation, and generates intuitive financial panel reports, making travel budgets clear and controllable.
-
Custom themed map: Integrates AMap JS API 2.0, dynamically draws a "start-attraction-end" check-in route based on real latitude and longitude, and provides a dark premium custom base map and attraction location previews.
-
Knowledge graph visualization: Converts the generated itinerary data into a node relationship graph in real time, intuitively displaying the spatial hierarchical structure of "city-days-itinerary nodes-budget".
-
Immersive travel companion AI: After the route guide is generated, it provides a floating Q&A window, and the AI supports users in asking follow-up questions in real time about details such as ticket prices and suitability based on complete itinerary context memory.
-
Intelligent weather service: A dedicated weather butler Agent queries the climate conditions and temperature changes for the target date, providing data support for clothing packing and travel arrangements.
-
Intelligent hotel recommendations: Automatically filters and recommends suitable hotel accommodation based on the user's budget range and accommodation style preferences.
-
Seamless multilingual switching: Deeply integrates the Vue I18n internationalization framework to enable real-time multilingual conversion of the system interface and AI Q&A content, serving global travelers.

Key information and usage requirements of TripStar
- Product positioning: A multi-agent collaborative cultural tourism planning platform based on the HelloAgents framework, which solves the "information overload" and "decision fatigue" problems in travel planning through LLM and a multi-agent architecture, and currently mainly supports domestic cities.
- Core Features: Deep integration with Xiaohongshu (authentic travelogue distillation, real-shot photos, reservation reminders), multi-agent collaboration (itinerary master control/weather/hotel/attraction Agent), high-end dark map visualization, knowledge graph display, immersive companion AI Q&A.
- Technical Architecture: Frontend Vue 3 + Vite (dark glassmorphism style), backend FastAPI + Python 3.10+, adopting an asynchronous polling mechanism to solve LLM long-text generation timeout issues.
- Environment Dependencies: Python 3.10+, Node.js 18+, uv package manager; supports Docker/Compose one-click deployment.
TripStar's Core Advantages
- Authentic Data Barrier: Deeply integrates authentic user travelogues from Xiaohongshu, using LLM intelligent distillation to obtain pitfall-avoidance guides, play duration, reservation reminders, and the latest real-shot scenery photos, solving the problems of outdated information and filter distortion on traditional guide platforms.
- Multi-Agent Professional Division of Labor: Based on the HelloAgents framework, it builds four major Agents: itinerary master control, weather steward, hotel specialist, and attraction extraction. Through workflow collaboration, it completes the entire process of search, distillation, planning, and verification, simulating professional travel steward services.
- Immersive Interactive Experience: Adopts a dark glassmorphism high-end UI, integrates the Amap JS API 2.0 to dynamically draw real latitude and longitude routes; provides knowledge graph visualization to display itinerary structure; supports a floating window companion Q&A after generation, with the AI possessing complete itinerary context memory.
- Engineering Stability: Innovatively uses an asynchronous polling task system, transferring LLM long-text generation tasks to background processing, with the frontend polling progress in real time, completely solving the 504 gateway timeout problem and ensuring the stability and reliability of complex itinerary generation.

TripStar's Application Scenarios
-
Personal Independent Travel Planning: Users only need to input the destination, dates, and preferences (transportation mode, accommodation style, travel interests), and within a few minutes they can obtain a complete guide including daily itineraries, attraction routes, and dining and accommodation, solving the information overload problem of traditional manual guide research that takes hours.
-
Short Weekend Getaway: For 2-3 day short-distance nearby travel needs, quickly generate a compact and reasonable itinerary plan, automatically calculate distances between attractions to avoid backtracking, and provide clothing and travel suggestions based on real-time weather data.
-
In-depth Cultural Experience Travel: Relying on authentic Xiaohongshu travelogue data for refinement, obtain local recommendations for non-influencer check-in spots, real pitfall avoidance guides, and cultural background interpretations, meeting the needs of travelers who pursue localized experiences rather than a whirlwind tour.
-
Budget-Sensitive Travel: Through the intelligent budget breakdown panel, clearly display expenses across dimensions such as tickets, dining, accommodation, and transportation, helping students, backpackers, or family users precisely control their financial spending before travel and avoid the risk of overspending.
-
Popular attraction tours that require reservation management: Automatically identify attractions that require advance reservations, such as museums and historical sites (e.g., the Forbidden City, Shaanxi History Museum), and prominently mark reservation channels and time nodes in the itinerary cards to prevent trips from falling through due to lack of reservations.
