About this tool

OrbiAds is a hosted Google Ad Manager MCP server that provides AI assistants with direct natural language access to Google Ad Manager (GAM). It supports platforms such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Cursor, and OpenAI Codex, covering more than 270 operations involving campaigns, orders, line items, creatives, inventory, targeting, and reporting, based on the current GAM API (v202605), and with OAuth authorization and confirmation-before-write safety guardrails.

Main capabilities:

  • Campaign management: read real-time status, plan deployments, dry run, deploy, pause, and roll back.
  • Orders and line items: create and list orders, contacts, and roles; define line item delivery rules, CPM, and targeting logic.
  • Creatives: upload image, HTML5, video/audio creatives, configure native styles; manage associated assets; audit click trackers, run compliance scans, verify SSL certificates; manage third-party wrappers and delivery presets.
  • Inventory and targeting: retrieve the ad unit tree and sizes, generate the ads.json manifest; create, update, and list placement groups; manage custom targeting keys/values, countries/regions, and categories; retrieve and modify first-party audience segments.
  • Reporting and analytics: run custom reports from templates, check line item delivery, integrate GA4; run raw PQL database queries.
  • Deals and companies: manage PMP deals, private auctions, and marketplace buyers; manage agency and advertiser company profiles.
  • Networks and settings: list accessible networks and switch the active network context; configure default CPM, pacing, and brand naming templates; access tenant-specific directories.
  • Auditing and billing: run automated security, hygiene, and wrapper coverage audits; search network audit logs; get credit balances and transaction history.

How to use: OrbiAds provides two integration methods:

  1. MCP server (for AI assistants): add the hosted MCP endpoint https://orbiads.com/mcp to the AI assistant configuration. For example, Claude Desktop adds it in claude_desktop_config.json: { "mcpServers": { "orbiads": { "type": "http", "url": "https://orbiads.com/mcp" } } } ; Gemini / AI Studio is added via Tools → MCP configuration; ChatGPT is added via Settings → Connectors → Add connector. For other environments (Cursor, Codex, Warp), add the endpoint and copy AGENTS.md to the project root directory.
  2. CLI (terminal and scripts): A lightweight Python CLI, suitable for developers, CI/CD pipelines, and headless automation. After installation, ensure the Python scripts directory is added to the user PATH; otherwise, the terminal and local AI agents will not be able to find or execute the orbiads command.

In addition, a Claude Code plugin (slash command /adops) and Agent Skills (structured workflows) are provided. You can clone the repository and run ./install.sh skills --copy to copy the skill files to the ~/.claude/skills/ directory, in order to apply a workflow in which planning precedes changes.

Quick start:

  1. Create a free account at orbiads.com and get 5 free credits, no credit card required.
  2. From the dashboard, click Connect GAM and authorize with your Google account (OAuth; credentials never leave Google infrastructure).
  3. Configure the AI assistant, then you can try: “Connect to my GAM account and show me my active networks”.

Security design: Every write operation requires an explicit ExecutionPlan preview and confirmation token; all deployment operations support dry-run mode, and the confirmation token TTL is 300 seconds; there is a forecasting gate before inventory submission; every operation has an audit trail; read operations are always free, and write operations transparently deduct credits.

Use cases:

  • AdOps managers running day-to-day ad campaigns who want faster and error-free work.
  • Publishers managing their own GAM network who want AI-assisted workflows.
  • Media agencies running multiple GAM accounts who want a consistent and auditable process.
  • Developers building AdOps automation on top of Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini.

Limitations and notes:

  • The repository contents (distribution scaffolding, skills, agents, workflows, JSON schemas, CLI client, platform integration checklist, documentation, and examples) are released under the MIT License.
  • The hosted MCP server backend and Cloud Run service are not in this repository and are subject to separate proprietary terms, as detailed at orbiads.com.
  • Read operations are free; write and deployment operations consume credits.
  • Specific pricing, credit consumption rates, platform support details, etc. are not fully described in the provided materials; please refer to the official documentation.
