JobDataLake MCP Server is an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server for searching JobDataLake's job data directly from AI tools. It is developed by echojobsio and hosted on GitHub.
Purpose The server lets users search over 1,000,000 enriched job listings from more than 20,000 companies directly within Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, or any MCP-compatible AI tool. Users can query jobs without leaving their AI tool.
Key capabilities
- Search and filter jobs: supports filtering by keywords, skills, salary, remote type, seniority, location, date, and other conditions.
- Keyword search (query): can search job titles, companies, and skills.
- Skill filtering (skills): AND logic, e.g. Python,AWS,Kubernetes, all skills must match.
- Salary filtering (salary_min / salary_max): in USD, accepts full dollar amounts, e.g. 150000.
- Remote type (remote_type): fully_remote, hybrid, on_site.
- Seniority: Entry, Mid Level, Senior, Staff, Principal, Manager, Director, C Level.
- Location: city, country, or continent (such as Europe, Asia, Latin America, Scandinavia, etc.).
- Countries: ISO codes, such as US,GB,DE.
- Job function (job_function): eng, data, design, sales, marketing, product, etc.
- Employment type (employment_type): full_time, part_time, contract, internship.
- Posted within (posted_within): 24h, 7d, 30d.
- Sort by (sort_by): posted_at:desc, salary_max_usd:desc, salary_min_usd:asc.
- Company filtering (company): filter by domain, such as stripe.com.
- Get job details: use the job_handle ID from search results to get the description, requirements, salary, and application link.
- Get company profile: accepts a domain (such as stripe.com) or handle, and returns industry, size, funding, and careers page.
- get_filter_options: discover available filter values and their job counts, making it easy to explore the dataset.
- find_similar_jobs: use AI vector similarity to find jobs similar to a given job, suitable for remote and technical roles.
How to use Simply add the server to the MCP configuration of Claude Code or Claude Desktop; no API key is required. Once added, you can ask questions directly, for example:
- "Find me remote senior React jobs paying over $150k"
- "Entry level data science jobs posted this week"
- "Jobs at Anthropic paying over $200k"
