About this tool

BrowseWiz is a Chrome browser extension that provides customizable AI chat, AI assistant, and AI agent features in a sidebar. Its core purpose is to turn website data into a Google Sheet, with support for automated updates and monitoring.

Main capabilities:

  1. Website data to Google Sheet: Users describe the data they need in natural language (for example, all supplier prices for a certain part, all speakers at a conference), and BrowseWiz opens the page in the user's own Chrome (including logged-in websites), reads the content, and writes rows to a Google Sheet. You can ask for a source column to be added, with each row linking back to the original page. No selector setup is required, and page redesigns will not interrupt the task.
  2. Scheduled refresh: You can ask for the sheet to be refreshed on a schedule (such as every Monday at 8 a.m.). When Chrome is open, each run rechecks the page and updates rows in place, and old values can be kept in a separate column. A notification is sent when the run is complete, even if the sidebar is closed.
  3. Page change monitoring and alerts: You can set up page monitoring and specify the changes you care about (such as a price below $900, or a new post appearing about a certain topic). When Chrome is open, it checks about every 5 minutes, alerts only when the change occurs, and includes a one-line summary.
  4. Sidebar AI assistant: You can summarize, compare, or ask questions about the current page; it supports microphone dictation and reads answers aloud in a natural voice; you can save your best prompts, support variable filling, and reuse them with one click.

How to use: Install the BrowseWiz extension, open the sidebar, and describe your needs in natural language. For Google Sheets, a one-time Google account login is required the first time. For websites that require login, BrowseWiz works in the user's already logged-in Chrome tab, so no password is needed. Page content is sent to the AI model to complete the task. Users can use their own AI model or API key in chat (such as OpenAI, OpenRouter, or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint), and the key is stored encrypted; however, scheduled tasks and monitoring always use the built-in BrowseWiz Chat model.

Use cases:

  • Extract data from websites that require login into Google Sheets, such as supplier prices and conference speaker information.
  • Automatically keep sheets updated, such as regularly refreshing prices or lists.
  • Monitor page changes and receive alerts, such as competitor price changes or new post publications.
  • Quickly get pagesummaries, comparisons, or Q&A while browsing the web.

Limitations and security:

  • Chrome must remain open to run scheduled tasks and monitoring.
  • Confirmation is requested before actions are performed (reading tabs, clicking, or typing), and users can skip prompts for trusted websites or for approved schedules. Scheduled tasks run automatically in the BrowseWiz Tabs group.
  • A safety check is performed before every click, text input, and Enter press, and unrequested actions such as sending, paying, deleting, or submitting are questioned or blocked; such steps are rejected during unattended scheduled runs.
  • Usage analytics can be turned off, and conversations are shared only when the user opts in.

Pricing: The free plan includes 10 million credits per month and includes 1 scheduled task and 1 page monitor. Pro is $29 per month with 250 million credits; Max is $79 per month with 1 billion credits. Both paid plans include up to 10 scheduled tasks and 30 page monitors. Prices exclude VAT.
