About this tool

Labrynth AI is a free browser-based gamepad diagnostic tool that reads raw gamepad input directly through the HTML5 Gamepad API, with no download or software installation required, and input data stays on the local device.

Purpose: To detect the hardware health status of a gamepad, including stick drift, button response, trigger pressure, vibration motors, and polling rate. It is suitable for players troubleshooting issues such as aim offset or automatic character movement, and also for repair technicians verifying repair results or sellers proving a gamepad's condition before sale.

Main capabilities: The stick drift analyzer can track analog stick centering deviation and sensor wear in real time; the calibration center can read true resting values, measure the dead zone starting point, and test the trigger's 256-level travel; the polling rate benchmark can measure input latency from 125Hz to 1000Hz and plot a latency curve; the vibration lab can trigger the left and right motors separately to locate faults; in addition, there are a circularity test, VID/PID hardware identification, and an exportable PDF diagnostic report.

How to use: Connect the gamepad to a PC or mobile device via USB or Bluetooth, press any button to wake it, and the browser will begin reading input. For wireless connection, on PlayStation gamepads hold the Share + PS buttons, and on Xbox gamepads press the Sync button to enter pairing mode. Using a USB cable is recommended for zero-latency testing.

Limitations: Vibration testing requires Chrome or Edge on Windows or Android; macOS and iOS block browsers from sending haptic feedback signals; some browser or system combinations may silently block vibration signals. The tool is web-based, and more information such as specific pricing, accounts, or platform support is not yet provided.
