Purpose: REVIEWS.io is an e-commerce reviews platform that primarily helps online brands collect, manage, and display verified customer reviews, UGC, and survey feedback. Brands can collect company reviews and product reviews, then display them on their websites, emails, and ads to build trust, increase conversion, and optimize the shopping experience.
Main capabilities:
- Collect reviews: Supports sending review invitations and can collect company reviews and product reviews.
- Display reviews: Can be displayed on websites, emails, and ads to increase conversion and trust.
- Review Booster: Historical order lists can be uploaded (including customer name, email, and order ID; product reviews also require SKU), and the system automatically sends review requests for these orders. Multiple products in the same order are combined into one email; each customer receives a company review invitation only once every three months, avoiding excessive interruption. This feature is available in the Start-Up plan and above.
- Data ownership: Users own their reviews and UGC, can export data, and take it with them when leaving the platform.
How to use:
- Timing for sending invitations: It is recommended to send invitations after customers have had time to use the product, and follow up once. For fast-moving consumer goods, it is recommended to send 3 to 5 days after ordering; for standard physical goods, 7 to 14 days is recommended; for high-consideration products (such as furniture and home appliances), 14 to 21 days is recommended. The platform default is 7 days. Sending a reminder 5 to 7 days after the first invitation usually improves collection rates without appearing intrusive. Invitations should focus on customers who have actually purchased, to ensure reviews are verified.
- Review collection rate: A good collection rate is usually above 5%, meaning more than 5 out of every 100 invitations convert into reviews. Most REVIEWS.io customers who send invitations regularly have collection rates between 3% and 6%. The collection rate depends on timing, whether reminders are sent, and who is invited; optimizing timing and follow-up is the fastest way to improve the collection rate.
- Coexisting with other platforms: Many brands use multiple review platforms at the same time. Some review requests can be sent to Trustpilot and Google, while the rest are collected on REVIEWS.io, thereby preserving existing displays and accumulating reviews that you own. If migrating from another platform, product reviews can be imported; however, company reviews on Trustpilot cannot be migrated without customer permission because Trustpilot holds the publishing rights. REVIEWS.io plans are billed monthly, and users own their reviews and can export them.
