Purpose
Hubble is an AI-native medical record retrieval platform designed to solve the problem of patient data being scattered across multiple EHRs (electronic health records) and payer systems. It is aimed at teams that need to obtain complete patient records, such as consumer health apps, legal litigation, insurance underwriting, and clinical trials.
Main capabilities
- Comprehensive coverage: Connects to systems already onboarded through direct EHR APIs and HIE networks, while using voice and browser agents to reach long-tail provider portals that are often ignored by API-only tools.
- Record completeness: Captures faxes, portals, and legacy documents and turns them into structured fields. Every record is checked for gaps and normalized into a unified format.
- Traceability: In the single record returned, every value indicates the source system it came from.
- Continuous improvement: Each retrieval teaches Hubble how to reach each provider, so coverage and success rates continue to improve.
- Authorize once: Patients only need to authorize once to return more complete records. Records flow within hours, rather than months of manual work.
- Production-proven: Already in production use with leading EHR and payer systems, including Epic, athenahealth, and national networks, handling hard-to-reach records through electronic retrieval as well as voice and fax agents.
How to use
Users initiate a record retrieval request through the platform. After the patient completes a one-time authorization, Hubble pulls data from EHRs, payers, and HIE networks, and uses voice and browser agents to supplement long-tail data. It ultimately returns a structured record in which every field can be traced back to its source. Specific integration methods, API documentation, and onboarding processes are not yet provided.
Use cases
- Consumer health: Wearables and digital health apps.
- Legal and litigation: Personal injury, mass tort, workers' compensation, disability.
- Insurance and underwriting: Life, disability, and property and casualty underwriting.
- Clinical trials: Real-world data, cohort studies, trial matching.
- Other: Pharmacy, medical tourism, etc., and still expanding.
Limitations
- Specific platform pricing, free trial policies, API call limits, etc., are not yet provided.
- The supported countries or regions are not yet clear.
- The difficulty and time required for integration with existing systems are not yet explained.
- Although record accuracy and completeness emphasize traceability, specific performance metrics are not yet provided.
- HIPAA compliance has been stated, but other compliance certifications (such as GDPR) are not yet mentioned.
