Purpose
trendyol-seller-mcp is an unofficial MCP server that wraps the Trendyol marketplace seller API, with the goal of enabling Turkish e-commerce sellers to drive daily store operations through an AI assistant (Claude Desktop, Claude Code, or any other MCP client).
Main capabilities
With this project you can:
- List products
- View order packages
- View returns
- Read customer questions
- After explicit enablement, answer customer questions, update inventory and prices
Write tools have double protection: unless the environment variable is set for the server process, TRENDYOL_ALLOW_WRITES=true, these two write tools will refuse to execute and give a clear message; when not set, the server is strictly read-only, and the AI assistant cannot change the store.
Client-side validation is performed before any request leaves the local machine: answer length 10–2000 characters, inventory/price batches up to 1000 items, and each item must provide a barcode.
How to use
The seller's own API credentials are required, and can be found in the Trendyol seller panel: Satıcı Paneli > Hesap Bilgilerim > Entegrasyon Bilgileri (visible only to the panel's main user), including: Satıcı ID, API Key, and API Secret.
Requests use HTTP Basic authentication (key/secret), and use the User-Agent required by Trendyol for self-service integrations:<sellerId> - SelfIntegration.
Environment requirements: Python 3.11+ and uv.
Configuration method: add to claude_desktop_config.json . Add "TRENDYOL_ALLOW_WRITES": "true"to env only if you want the write tools to take effect.
It is recommended to run in read-only mode first, and set TRENDYOL_ALLOW_WRITES=trueafter trusting the workflow. Answers to customer questions are public, and each question can only be posted once.
get_orders hides customer names and full shipping addresses by default, returning only the city; when truly needed, you can pass include_pii=true。get_customer_questions and get_claims in a single call never returns customer names. Credentials come only from environment variables and are never written to disk.
Applicable scenarios
Suitable for Turkish e-commerce sellers handling daily store operations through an AI assistant, including product management, order and return viewing, customer Q&A, and inventory and price adjustments.
Limitations
- Unofficial: Trendyol may change the API at any time; endpoints were verified on 2026-08-25 against developers.trendyol.com (v2.0 documentation, English).
- Covers only six common operations, not the full API: it does not include product creation, shipping labels, invoices, or webhook endpoints.
update_price_and_stockreturns Trendyol's batchRequestId, but does not poll the batch result endpoint; check the batch status yourself if needed.- Trendyol documentation limits question pagination to 50 items and order pagination to 200 items; this server truncates according to these limits. No documented upper limit was found for product filtering (V1) page size, so it is passed through as-is.
- Not targeted at or tested against the Trendyol international (non-TR) marketplace API.
- No caching, no retry loops—on 429 it includes the Retry-After value, and the calling assistant decides when to retry.
- Built and tested against simulated responses; tolerant fallback field names are used where Trendyol documentation shows multiple names for the same field.
