Purpose

GPH Intelligence MCP Server (Healthcare Service Provider Finder) is an MCP server that gives AI agents access to the curated directory of U.S. healthcare service providers from GetPracticeHelp. It is aimed at clinic managers, healthcare AI developers, and anyone building tools for the medical clinic market, to find matching service providers for U.S. medical institutions.

Main Capabilities

• Contains more than 76,000 curated healthcare service providers, covering 25 service categories and all 50 states plus Washington, D.C.
• Categories are divided into 6 major groups:
  • Operations and Administration: Medical Billing and RCM, Credentialing Services, Medical Coding, Practice Management Consulting, Healthcare HR and Recruiting.
  • Technology: Healthcare IT and EHR, Telehealth and Virtual Care, Medical Transcription and Documentation.
  • Legal, Financial, and Compliance: Healthcare Legal Services, Healthcare CPA and Tax Advisory, Compliance and HIPAA, Practice Financing, Practice Valuation and Brokerage, Medical Malpractice Insurance.
  • Facilities and Equipment: Medical Construction and Facilities, Medical Equipment and Supplies, Medical Real Estate, Signage and Wayfinding, Medical Waste and Environmental.
  • Growth and Marketing: Healthcare Marketing, Patient Financing, Group Purchasing Organizations, PR and Communications.
  • Clinical Support: Pharmacy and Medication Management, Laboratory and Diagnostics.
• Provides three tools:
  • find_providers: Find providers by category (required), state (required), specialty, practice size (Solo, Small, Mid-size, Large), city, EHR system, and budget range, returning ranked matches with profile completeness scores.
  • search_providers: Search the provider directory by category (required), state, city, and minimum profile completeness score (0-100, not a quality score), returning paginated results, with a default of 10 per page and a maximum of 25.
  • get_provider_detail: Get the full profile by provider slug, including description, services offered, contact information, and profile completeness score.
• The profile completeness score (0-100) is calculated based on the number of completed listing fields (website, phone, description, services, location, source, company profile), and is not a quality or reputation score; 0 means that row has never been scored.
• Data is refreshed monthly.

How to Use

Connect via Claude Desktop: add the configuration in claude_desktop_config.json , no API key required.

The service is free and requires no API key. The full public directory can be read, including every page of every category. There is a request rate safety valve per IP (120 calls per 60 seconds, plus a fallback limit of 20,000 calls per day); it limits the rate rather than the total, so reading the full directory at 2 calls per second or less will not be rejected.

Troubleshooting

• No results returned: relax the query conditions. category is required, so confirm it is set; then try removing the city / min_rating filters or expanding the state range (national providers are always included).
• "Rate limit exceeded": more than 120 calls from the same IP within 60 seconds, or more than 20,000 within one UTC day. Tool results include isError: true and retry_after_seconds values; wait that duration before continuing.
• Cannot connect: point the client to the remote endpoint, no API key required:npx -y mcp-remote https://gph-mcp-server.pages.dev/mcp
• Browser returns 403:/mcp The endpoint validates the Origin header to prevent DNS rebinding. Standard MCP clients (Claude Desktop, mcp-remote, server-to-server) do not send an Origin header and can connect normally; only disallowed browser origins are blocked.
