About this tool

TokenTool is an AI infrastructure platform for integrators and teams, providing unified AI API access.

I. Purpose TokenTool is designed to let users access various popular AI models through a single API and settle payments in rubles, without a VPN or a foreign bank card, while also providing reimbursement documents for accounting.

II. Main capabilities

  1. Unified API: one key provides access to any type of content, including text, images, and video.
  2. Language models: text models for chat, code, analysis, and summarization; model IDs, status, and prices must be checked in the catalog.
  3. Image generation: image models in Media AI; availability, parameters, and agreement depend on the selected project.
  4. Video, voice, and transcription categories: before integration, check the status and format of the specific model.
  5. OpenAI-compatible interface: migration requires changing only one line of code, base_url, for example changing base_url = "https://api.openai.com/v1" to base_url = "https://api.tokentool.ru/api/v1"。部分客户端和功能可能需要额外配置。
  6. Project management: tasks and teams can be grouped by project, and each project can independently manage keys, model settings, limits, statistics, and logs.
  7. Budget control: set limits for supported text requests, track the costs of keys and projects; actual charges are based on statistics.
  8. Prompt management: save system prompts as version-controlled presets, roll back to any version without deployment, and connect to requests via preset_id to avoid hardcoding.
  9. AUTO MODEL intelligent routing: pass in model="auto" to enable automatic model selection and fallback; quality, latency, and cost need to be verified on your own request set.
  10. Logs and analytics: view requests, tokens, costs, latency, and errors recorded by key and project; the field set depends on the request type; secrets should not be placed in prompts or metadata.
  11. No-code testing: the built-in sandbox allows testing models in the browser, supporting single chat and simultaneous comparison of 2–3 models, and displays time, token, and cost metrics.
  12. New features (beta): Media AI and the built-in AI agent are already available for testing, with full release coming soon. The Media AI module supports images, video, audio, and 3D, the catalog and model availability are continuously updated, and payment is in rubles based on actual usage. The built-in AI agent allows testing models in the browser, comparing multiple model responses, and running agents with system prompts and a knowledge base, without installation.

III. How to use Getting started takes 3 steps: register via Email or Telegram (about 30 seconds); pay in rubles, with any Russian bank card, or via SBP; after payment confirmation, create a key and start using it. The platform charges by actual usage, with no subscription or monthly fee, and after top-up it is charged according to actual consumption. Costs include: ruble payments (Sber, Tinkoff, VTB, MIR, SBP), no VPN required (any Russian IP), documents for individual entrepreneurs and limited liability companies (upon request and under the applicable tax regime), one key for the text models available in the catalog, key cost limits, Russian-language support (Telegram and email), request history and statistics in the personal account, OpenAI-compatible text API (subject to the actual documentation).

IV. Use cases

  1. Developers: use one key for Cursor, Claude Code, and internal scripts, and quickly switch between Claude, GPT, Gemini, and DeepSeek by changing only base_url and the API key, without registering separate accounts with each provider.
  2. Teams and production environments: issue separate keys for production, testing, and different projects, set limits, and see where the budget goes, avoiding chaos.
  3. Companies: gain access to foreign AI APIs without foreign exchange payments or manual reimbursement through employees.

V. Limitations The platform does not provide specific prices, model lists, availability details, response time commitments, or the full release date of agent features. Some features (Media AI, AI agent) are in beta mode, and availability and parameters may change. The specific scope of the documentation and API is subject to the actual version.
