About this tool

The CallChatSyn MCP server is an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server used to connect to the CallChatSyn API, enabling AI assistants to handle customer service matters for small businesses: answering customer questions based on the business's own frequently asked questions (FAQ), listing available appointment times, and completing bookings. It is suitable for Claude, Cursor, and any client that supports MCP.

Main capabilities:

  • Answer customer questions based on the business's own FAQ, with support for English and Chinese.
  • List open available appointment times (according to the business's time zone).
  • Book these times for customers.
  • Answers use rule-based FAQ matching, which is fast and predictable rather than free-form generation.

How to use:

  1. Remote server (no installation required): Add the server URL as a custom connector. In Claude: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector; in Cursor and other clients: add it as a Streamable HTTP server. If no key is provided, the server uses a demo business. To operate on behalf of your own business, send the request header Authorization: Bearer ccs_live_.... The server is also listed in the official MCP Registry under the name com.callchatsyn/callchatsyn.

  2. Local setup (npx): First create a CallChatSyn account, add FAQs and business hours, then go to Dashboard → Developers → claim founder access → create an API key. After that, add the server to the MCP client configuration. Keep the key safe; one key operates on behalf of one business. If you do not yet have a key, you can omit CALLCHATSYN_API_KEY, and the server will use the public demo key (ccs_demo_public): answers come from the demo business, and bookings are only dry runs, so you can try all tools before signing up.

Use cases:

  • Small businesses that want to automatically answer common customer questions through an AI assistant.
  • Service-based businesses that need to let an AI assistant check and book appointment slots.
  • Those who want to experience it in demo mode before formal deploymentdevelopers of tool capabilities.

Limitations and notes:

  • Answers are rule-based FAQ matching, not freely generated responses.
  • Free scope: the first 1,000 businesses can use it for free (founder offer: 100 API calls per day, 2,000 per month).
  • API documentation and OpenAPI specification:https://callchatsyn.com/developers · https://callchatsyn.com/openapi.json
  • More feature details, supported platforms, specific pricing, and results are not yet provided in the materials.
