Sendout Companaro is an automated job-search agent tool whose core goal is to help job seekers reach hiring decision-makers more efficiently, rather than just submitting online applications.
Purpose
This tool is aimed at job seekers looking for technical roles (such as software, backend, full stack, AI/ML, data, DevOps, product management), and is especially suitable for people seeking jobs in Delhi NCR, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and remote areas in India. It attempts to solve the problem of inefficiency in traditional online applications: a job may receive four hundred applications within two hours, and a simple submission is often buried, while hiring managers' email addresses are usually not public, making it difficult for job seekers to contact decision-makers directly.
Main capabilities
- Job scanning and filtering: Each run scans more than 17,000 jobs, covering platforms such as Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday, and LinkedIn, and selects new jobs posted within the past day.
- Finding hiring managers: Finds and verifies hiring managers' work email addresses for jobs, and it is claimed that 59% of jobs have a contactable person behind them.
- LinkedIn outreach: Sends personalized connection requests and messages from the user's own LinkedIn account, dozens per day.
- Email applications: Uses the user's own Gmail to send application emails with a resume attached, and mentions the hiring manager's name.
- Automatic follow-up and replies: Follows up every day, and when a recruiter replies, the agent gives an initial response as the user, and when the other party wants a phone conversation, hands the conversation thread over to the user.
- Dashboard management: Everything sent is shown on the user's dashboard, and the user can take over any conversation with one click.
How to use
The setup process only requires answering twelve questions, including target role, city, current salary (last drawn CTC), expected salary (expected CTC), and notice period, and takes about one minute. The user needs to provide LinkedIn login (via a secure connector), Gmail (if sending applications from their own address), and a resume. After that, the agent runs automatically every day: finding new jobs and hiring managers, sending connection requests and applications, following up, and handling replies. Users can pause or cancel at any time, and the settings are retained.
Applicable scenarios
Suitable for job seekers who want to proactively contact hiring managers and speed up the job search process, especially in highly competitive technical job markets. Also suitable for people who want to maintain high-frequency daily outreach but cannot sustain it manually.
Limitations andNotes
The tool operates on a weekly basis and can be paused or canceled at any time. It does not post on LinkedIn, only sends connection requests and messages. The official materials mention some data: of 393 LinkedIn notes sent within eight weeks, 133 were accepted (34%), which is higher than the typical 15%-20% acceptance rate; 1/7 of them received written replies, and 60 companies wrote back; the response rate for cold applications through the portal is about 2%-3%; of 1,760 positions tracked within sixty days, 1,034 (59%) had someone contactable; among 1,285 companies tracked in five regions of India, 258 email applications with resumes were sent. These data come from its official introduction, and actual results may vary from person to person. The tool relies on the account and resume provided by the user and requires authorized access to LinkedIn and Gmail. Currently, the supported roles and cities are limited, and the official instructions shall prevail.
