Clipto is an AI-powered media management assistant whose core goal is to transform users' scattered videos, audio, documents, images, and other materials into a unified, searchable "AI Memory".
Purpose To solve the problem of scattered data that is difficult to retrieve. Users generate large amounts of meeting recordings, videos, voice memos, screenshots, and documents every day; these are scattered across folders and are hard to find when needed. Clipto aims to upgrade storage into searchable memory.
Main Capabilities
- Transcription: Supports transcription of videos, audio, meetings, conversations, and other content.
- Unified memory library: Brings videos, images, meetings, conversations, documents, and ideas together into one searchable local memory library.
- Content search: Can search by visual content (rather than file name), automatically tags by scene, subject, and shot type, and can jump directly to the exact frame or timestamp.
- Multi-platform access: Provides iOS, Android (scan QR code to download), and Web versions; Web is cloud-driven, can be connected via MCP, and offers Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve plugins.
- AI integration: Memory can be accessed from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or Clipto's own Agent via MCP, and all answers can be traced back to sources, people, moments, and exact timestamps.
- Local-first: Data stays local, cloud intelligence is optional. Local-first, not local-only.
How to Use Users can build a memory library on their local device, and data can be searched without first being uploaded. By connecting to commonly used AI tools through the MCP protocol, users can directly query the same memory library and sources in environments such as Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor. iOS, Android QR code download, and a Web cloud version are also provided, as well as Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve plugins.
