02. Claiming Steps
The 0-yuan 12-month ChatGPT Go membership experience is currently a limited-time event in India, so weneed a global India node throughout, and we also need to use PayPal.
The claiming method is very simple:
- Log inChatGPT, on the upgrade plan page, change the region in the lower right corner to Germany;

We use a browser to log in to ChatGPT and choose to upgrade the plan in the lower left corner of the page.

We firstchange the region in the lower right corner of the page to Germany(otherwise there is no PayPal option on the payment page), then click upgrade to Go.
Choose PayPalas the payment method. For the name and billing address, tests show that a real domestic address can also be used (consistent with the card-binding information in PayPal).
After the subscription is successful, the page will show that the current plan is Go, valid for one year, and it can still be used normally outside India afterward.

Can I still claim it if I have already activated a ChatGPT membership?

If you have already subscribed to the ChatGPT Go membership, there are 2 cases:

Users who subscribe through the Apple App Store need to manually cancel their current subscription and wait until the final billing cycle ends before manually claiming it.
