What is the uMeta Medical Model
The uMeta Medical Model is a multimodal artificial intelligence model for the medical field launched by United Imaging Intelligence. By integrating multiple modal data such as text, imaging, vision, and speech, it provides in-depth intelligent solutions for medical scenarios. It includes five sub-models: the text large model can inject medical knowledge into a general model and enable lightweight deployment; the imaging large model is trained on massive medical imaging data and supports analysis of multiple imaging modalities, with accuracy exceeding 95%; the vision large model covers capabilities such as 4D modeling and rendering; the speech large model can accurately recognize medical terminology in noisy environments and support multi-person conversations; and the hybrid large model integrates multimodal capabilities and has been applied in complex surgical scenarios. The "uMeta" large model can improve the efficiency of medical diagnosis, optimize treatment processes, support medical research and education, and drive the intelligent development of the healthcare industry.
Main functions of the uMeta Medical Model
-
Medical text large model: It can efficiently handle complex text reasoning tasks, and its size is only one quarter of the original model, facilitating localized deployment in hospitals. It can inject professional medical knowledge into a general large model to improve the efficiency of medical text processing.
-
Medical imaging large model: Trained on massive medical imaging data, it supports more than 10 imaging modalities and more than 300 imaging processing tasks, with accuracy exceeding 95% on key tasks. In radiology, a single chest CT scan can detect 37 common diseases and abnormalities.
-
Medical vision large model: It has capabilities such as 4D modeling and high-speed cinematic rendering, and can accurately depict and restore organ and tissue segmentation.
-
Medical speech large model: It supports accurate recognition of medical terminology and intelligent voiceprint analysis, can recognize professional terminology in noisy environments, and supports identity recognition in multi-person conversation scenarios.
-
Hybrid multimodal large model: It integrates multiple modal capabilities to enable an intelligent workflow with seamless connection of "seeing, listening, reading, and thinking," and has been implemented in complex medical scenarios.
Technical features of the uMeta Medical Model
-
Multimodal integration: It integrates multimodal data such as text, imaging, vision, speech, and hybrid, and has the ability to "see, listen, read, and think."
-
Deep adaptation to medical scenarios: Through vertical-domain specialization and private-domain knowledge fine-tuning, it achieves a high degree of adaptation to medical scenarios.
-
Autonomous evolution: It can cultivate self-evolving, multimodal, and adaptive medical agents according to the needs of different medical scenarios.
-
High performance and lightweight: Taking the uMeta medical text large model as an example, its complex reasoning and text processing capabilities are greatly improved, and the model size is only one quarter of the original model, facilitating lightweight and flexible localized deployment in hospitals.
Application scenarios of the uMeta Medical Model
-
Imaging diagnosis: For example, the uMetaImaging all-in-one imaging agent breaks through the limitations of the traditional "single disease, single application" approach and can achieve accurate diagnosis of multiple diseases with one model. For example, a single chest CT scan can automatically detect 37 common diseases and abnormalities in multiple parts of the body.
-
Clinical treatment: For example, the uAI MERITS multi-surgery agent can achieve "eye, brain, hand" coordination and control surgical equipment and robotic arms in real time according to doctors' voice commands, improving the precision and safety of surgery.
-
Medical education and training: Provide support for medical research and education, such as the uAI Research Portal scientific research platform, offering a one-stop medical imaging AI analysis tool.
-
Hospital Management: Such as the uMetaGenesis device management intelligent agent, assisting hospital management by intelligently sensing device status and the environment, and optimizing resource scheduling and maintenance efficiency.
-
Patient Services: Such as the medical record assistant, which uses natural language processing technology to assist doctors in efficiently generating and managing medical records.
