On March 28, 2024, the generative AI product design and rendering startup headquartered in San Francisco, California, USA, Vizcom announced that it raised $20 million in Series A funding. The round was led by Index Ventures, with participation from several angel investors, including Figma VP of Sales Kyle Parrish, Datadog VP of Sales Steve Mallouf, former Roblox CTO Daniel Sturman, and Figma Director of Engineering Ayush Sood.
The company plans to use the raised funds to invest in developing technology and hiring a strong team.
Vizcom was founded in 2021 by Jordan Taylor (CEO) and Kaelan Richards (CTO), and provides AI creative tools designed to help industrial product designers and artists bring their ideas to life. Its AI tools enable designers to turn ideas into realistic product renderings in real time and explore unlimited variations and combinations to inform their design decisions. Vizcom has already partnered with industry giants such as Ford and New Balance to enhance their design processes.
