On April 3, 2024, AI security solutions startup TrojAI headquartered in New Brunswick, Canada, announced it has raised $5.75 million in seed funding, led by Flying Fish, with participation from existing investors Build Ventures and Techstars, as well as new investors Alteryx Ventures and Flybridge Capital Partners.
The company plans to use the raised funds to expand its operations and strengthen its product development, sales, and marketing efforts.
Founded in 2019 and led by CEO Lee Weiner and CTO James Stewart, TrojAI provides a comprehensive AI security platform to protect AI/ML applications and infrastructure, enabling enterprises to use its firewall to protect applications from real-time threats. Penetration testing models and remediation guidance provided before deployment further reduce risk.
