Floor Plan Generator is an online floor plan generation tool designed to help users quickly turn room requirements, dimensions, and layout preferences into clear 2D or 3D floor plans. Instead of manually drawing every element, users only need to describe the space type, number of rooms, dimensions, and layout relationships in natural language, and the AI can generate a structured floor plan.
Main capabilities:
- AI-generated floor plans: Understands room and layout requirements, builds connected spaces based on the description, and generates a complete starting floor plan in seconds.
- Dimension-aware layout: The generated floor plan takes into account the number of rooms, dimensions, and spatial relationships, maintaining a reasonable layout.
- 2D and 3D views: Users can choose a 2D floor plan to clearly view the layout and circulation, or choose a 3D floor plan for a more intuitive visual sense of the space, furniture, and connected areas.
- Templates and customization: Provides templates for common spaces such as houses, apartments, and offices, and also supports custom space descriptions. Selecting a template fills the workspace, and users can adjust all settings before generating.
- Export function: Generated floor plans can be exported as PNG files, making them easy to share, present, or use as reference.
How to use:
- Choose a space type: house, apartment, office, garage, or custom layout.
- Set requirements: add dimensions, rooms, layout preferences, and a brief planning description.
- Generate the floor plan: choose a 2D or 3D style, then generate and export as PNG. Users can sign in with Google, and when creating a credit account for the first time, they receive 5 welcome credits. Basic generation costs 1 credit, and Pro generation costs 4 credits. Only one style (2D or 3D) can be selected per generation, and generating the other format requires spending credits separately.
Use cases:
- Renovation planning: Turn dimensions and requirements into clear concept diagrams for early renovation discussions.
- Space layout testing: Test room arrangements, circulation, and storage solutions before making changes.
- Office planning: Compare different layouts such as private, open-plan, hybrid, and coworking.
- Property visualization: Create simple floor plan references for property listings and real estate conversations.
- Communication and presentation: Provide clear visual references for clients, team members, or planning discussions.
Limitations: The generated floor plans are conceptual visuals for planning and communication, not final construction drawings. Users should confirm dimensions, structure, and local requirements with qualified professionals. This tool does not replace professional architectural design or engineering verification.
