Ai stock keywords is an AI metadata generation tool for stock contributors, designed to automate the title, description, and keyword generation process for stock photos and videos, helping improve the search visibility of works on microstock platforms while greatly saving time on manually filling in metadata.
Purpose
The tool mainly addresses the most repetitive metadata entry work in stock contribution. After users upload images or videos, AI automatically generates titles, descriptions, and keywords that match stock search habits. Users only need to review, edit, and submit to complete the entire process from upload to submission.
Main Capabilities
- Automatically generates stock-ready titles, descriptions, and keywords, suitable for Adobe Stock, Shutterstock, and other microstock platforms.
- Supports JPEG and PNG image formats as well as MP4 and MOV video formats.
- Can process up to 500 files at a time, supporting everything from small batches of 10 files to large batches of 500 files.
- Generates short titles (title case format), using only English letters.
- Can export as CSV files, or embed metadata directly into images in XMP format.
- Provides a submission review flag feature that can indicate clearly visible details in images, such as identifiable people, text, logos or brands, license plates, landmarks or property, artworks or designs, etc., for checking before export.
- Metadata is optimized for stock platform search engines, including relevant keywords and phrases, helping improve the visibility and ranking of images and videos.
How to Use
- Select images or videos from your device.
- AI generates titles, descriptions, and keywords.
- Review and edit the metadata, and check any risks flagged by AI.
- Export as CSV or embed the metadata directly into the images.
- Upload the files with metadata to the stock platform.
For images, the generated metadata is embedded directly in XMP format and will be automatically recognized and applied when uploaded to stock platforms, with no need for manual entry. For videos, metadata cannot be embedded directly, but it can be downloaded as a CSV file, and most stock platforms support applying metadata to all videos at once through a single CSV file. After processing is complete, images are returned as a zip file, or a CSV file is provided.
Applicable Scenarios
- Occasional uploaders: suitable for small-batch processing.
- Growing stock portfolios: suitable for medium-scale batch processing.
- Frequent contributors: suitable for high-frequency, large-batch processing.
- Large projects: suitable for large-scale processing at the 500-file level.
Pricing
A credit system is used: 1 credit can generate metadata for 1 photo or video. One-time purchase, no subscription required, credits never expire, can be used at any time, and more credits can be purchased at any time. The per-file prices for different packages are: $0.020, $0.005, $0.002, $0.001 per file.
Limitations and Notes
- Supported stock platforms include Shutterstock, Adobe Stock, Getty Images, Dreamstime, Vecteezy, Freepik, etc., but some platforms such as Depositphotos may misinterpret metadata; it is recommended to check before submitting.
- Video metadata cannot be embedded and can only be uploaded via CSV file.
- Image metadata is embedded in XMP format. Windows Explorer and MacOS Finder do not display it by default; Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Bridge, ExifTool, or other software that supports XMP is required to view it.
- Getty Images and iStock do not publish official lists of allowed or prohibited keywords. Red highlighting is based only on internal rules, is for reference only, does not prevent submission, and may be ignored, deleted, or replaced during review.
- Submission review flags are only prompts and do not constitute legal advice, rights decisions, or a guarantee of acceptance by stock agencies.
- If metadata generation fails for all files, it may be related to browser security settings. For example, Firefox's Enhanced Tracking Protection or Brave's privacy features may block requests. It is recommended to use a mainstream browser such as Chrome, temporarily disable privacy/tracking protection, and clear cache and cookies.
- Regarding data security, files are processed in a secure environment and are not stored permanently; they are deleted from the system immediately after download is complete.
