About this tool

trade-router-mcp is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server provided by TradeRouter.ai, positioned as a non-custodial Solana swap and limit order engine for AI agents to call.

Purpose It enables AI agents to execute a variety of trading operations on Solana in a non-custodial manner, including swaps, limit orders, trailing orders, TWAP, DCA, and combo orders. Trade routing covers venues such as Raydium, PumpSwap, Orca, and Meteora, and integrates Jito for MEV protection.

Key capabilities

  • Provides 21 tools, covering types such as swap, limit, trailing, TWAP, DCA, and combo orders.
  • Supports routing across Raydium, PumpSwap, Orca, and Meteora.
  • Provides MEV-protected transaction submission via Jito (the /protect endpoint).
  • Server messages are verified using Ed25519, with the built-in trust anchor public key EXX3nRzfDUvbjZSmxFzHDdiSYeGVP1EGr77iziFZ4Jd4, and messages such as order_filled, order_created, and twap_execution are only considered authoritative after verification.
  • Provides read-only endpoints /holdings and /mcap, free to use.
  • Provides machine-readable specification files to facilitate SDK generation.

Usage Can be run directly via npx: npx -y @traderouter/trade-router-mcp It can also be integrated into MCP clients, such as Claude Desktop, Cursor, Cline, etc. Before use, you need to prepare a base58-format Solana wallet private key; it is recommended to use a dedicated trading wallet rather than your main asset wallet. The private key is read once via the environment variable TRADEROUTER_PRIVATE_KEY, and signing is done locally using @solana/web3.js and tweetnacl; it is not transmitted, logged, or persisted; only signed transactions leave the local machine. Typical call flow: the agent calls build_swap → MCP sends the wallet address (public key) to api.traderouter.ai → the API returns an unsigned transaction → MCP signs locally using TRADEROUTER_PRIVATE_KEY → the signed transaction is submitted to /protect (Jito MEV-protected bundling) → the server confirms and returns the balance changes. The private key never crosses the network. In addition, any MCP server can be used in LangChain via the official adapter.

Use cases Suitable for users who need to let AI agents execute non-custodial trades, limit orders, trailing orders, TWAP, DCA, or combo orders on Solana, especially scenarios where they want to automate trading workflows with the help of an MCP client or LangChain integration.

Limitations and fees A 1% fixed fee is charged on swap transaction volume, embedded in the /protect route; no subscription, no API key, no monthly minimum spend. Read-only endpoints are free. Security disclosures can be submitted via security@traderouter.ai or GitHub Security Advisories, with confirmation within 48 hours. The project uses the MIT license.
