About this tool

GenReady is a website AI search readiness analysis tool that helps websites understand how AI search engines such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews view their sites, and provides actionable optimization recommendations to increase the probability of being cited by AI.

Purpose

This tool is aimed at website operators, SEO practitioners, developers, and agencies who want to improve visibility in the AI search era. By simulating how AI crawlers fetch content, it assesses whether a website can be found, understood, and cited by AI, thereby answering questions such as "why doesn't ChatGPT mention us"—and presenting them with concrete data.

Main Capabilities

AI Readiness Score

Provides a comprehensive score from 0-100, split into two independent dimensions: "content score" and "crawlability score," making it easy to pinpoint which side the problem lies on. The score is accompanied by an AI-written analysis explanation.

Content Analysis (13 content signals)

Evaluates key factors that affect AI citations, including: facts and details (whether named entities, numbers, and data points are sufficient), redundant words and filler, heading structure, source links, author information and content freshness, topic focus, Schema markup, originality, AI text, writing style matching, tables and lists, and more.

Crawlability Analysis

Performs multiple technical checks: AI access rules (robots.txt, firewalls, meta tags, paywall detection), JavaScript rendering gap (crawlers cannot see content that requires browser execution), loading speed and page size, as well as sitemaps, HTTPS security, internal links, and a total of 10 crawlability checks.

The Website as Seen by AI

Previews how the page appears to AI crawlers: stripped-down HTML, Markdown conversion results, and a comparison of "visible content" versus "hidden content." It also compares what fast crawlers and deep crawlers can each see.

JavaScript Rendering Gap Detection

The tool loads the page twice: once as raw HTML, and once in a real headless browser, and reports the percentage difference between the two. It can identify the framework used behind the scenes (such as Next.js, Vue, Angular, or Vite) and provides targeted fix recommendations, such as using server-side rendering or prebuilding for routes.

Agent Readiness

Checks whether a website supports emerging standards that allow AI agents to discover, query, and transact:

  • Agent discovery: MCP Server Cards, A2A Agent Cards, Agent Skills
  • Agent interfaces: webMCP tools, NLWeb natural language endpoints, Markdown responses
  • Agentic commerce: UCP manifests, x402 micropayments Each detected standard can add 1 point to the total score (up to +4); missing ones do not deduct points.

Site Health Report

Aimed at the entire domain rather than a single page: discover pages from sitemaps, feeds, and limited crawling, classify them by type, and score each section independently. It can answer questions that a single page cannot, such as which 8 types of AI crawlers are allowed by robots.txt, whether llms.txt covers key pages, and which page templates are missing structured data. Paid plans support weekly reruns and diff comparisons.

API and MCP Integration

Provides a complete REST API that can integrate analysis into CI/CD, monitoring stacks, or client reporting tools. Supports Model Context Protocol, allowing AI agents to analyze pages themselves, read scores, and act based on the results.

How to Use

Users can scan any page to view a complete analysis (crawlability, content intelligence, priority fixes). They can also add an entire domain to generate a site health report. Paid plans support white-label PDF export, 10 domains, up to 5,000 pages per run, and weekly reruns.

Use Cases

Suitable for content sites, e-commerce sites, SaaS product pages, and other websites that want to be cited by AI search engines; suitable for development teams troubleshooting AI crawler invisibility caused by client-side rendering (React/Vue/Angular SPA); suitable for agencies producing AI visibility reports for clients in bulk.

Limitations

Official materials do not provide details such as specific pricing, free quota limits, or supported languages, so these are not yet available. Some features (such as weekly reruns, white-label export, multiple domains, and large numbers of pages) are explicitly marked as belonging to paid plans. Agent readiness checks are currently only a bonus item, and the vast majority of websites have not yet implemented these standards.
