cspr-trade-mcp is an AI agent integration solution provided by make-software for CSPR.trade (the leading DEX on Casper Network), based on the MCP (Model Context Protocol) protocol, allowing AI agents to interact directly with the decentralized exchange.
Purpose The tool is designed to let AI agents connect to CSPR.trade and perform operations on Casper Network such as market data queries, token swaps, liquidity management, trade analysis, portfolio tracking, and account queries.
Main capabilities The public MCP interface provides 24 tools, covering market data, swaps, liquidity management, trade analysis, portfolio tracking, and account queries. An optional local signer (--signer mode) additionally provides 1 tool, sign_deploy, for loading keys from the local machine to perform local-only deployment signing. In the complete dual-server configuration there are 23 tools in total.
Usage Public endpoint:https://mcp.cspr.trade/mcp,任何 MCP clients can connect without setup. This endpoint can be added to the configuration of Claude Desktop, Cursor, or any MCP client. When the hosted endpoint is running, file-based deployment input is disabled; submit_transaction only accepts inline signed JSON and will not read deployment files from the server file system.
For local signing, you can run a second local MCP instance with --signer mode enabled, thereby completing deployment signing locally.
If using OpenClaw, the corresponding agent skill can be installed from ClawHub. This skill guides the agent through the complete workflow, including intent classification, quote-then-swap mode, price impact warnings, the local signing process, price history queries, portfolio checks, and error recovery, and is suitable for any OpenClaw-compatible agent.
For testnet access or a private instance, you can install the npm package and refer to the self-hosting guide for HTTP server setup, local signer mode, production deployment, and optional file path workflows.
Use cases Suitable for users who want AI agents to query market data, execute swaps, manage liquidity, analyze trades, track portfolios, and query accounts on Casper Network, and especially suitable for scenarios requiring a non-custodial transaction signing process.
Limitations The public MCP server does not handle private keys; transactions are constructed remotely and signed locally when signer mode is enabled. The hosted endpoint does not support file-based deployment input; submit_transaction only accepts inline signed JSON. Testnet access and private instances require installing the npm package yourself and referring to the self-hosting guide.
