About this tool

Purpose: Cockpit Tools is a general-purpose AI IDE account management tool designed to help users efficiently manage multiple AI IDE accounts, supporting one-click switching, quota monitoring, automatic wake-up, and running multiple app instances in parallel, so as to make full use of the resources of different accounts.

Main capabilities:

  1. Dashboard: Centrally displays the account status of each platform, the remaining quota of models, and reset times, supports one-click refresh and one-click wake-up, and displays quota consumption with visual progress bars.
  2. One-click account switching: Switch the currently used account without manual login and logout.
  3. Quota monitoring: View the remaining quota and reset time of each model in real time, and display the plan/plan type (such as Basic, Plus, Team, Free, Pro, Business, Enterprise, etc.) and the raw quota values.
  4. Wake-up tasks: Wake up AI models on a schedule to trigger the quota reset cycle in advance.
  5. Multi-instance parallelism: Supports running multiple accounts and multiple instances of the same platform in parallel, with each instance bound to a different account, using an independent directory and startup parameters, without affecting each other.
  6. Account import: Supports OAuth authorization, Refresh Token, Token/JSON import, local client import, import of the current local login state, and plugin synchronization, among other methods (the supported methods differ slightly by platform).
  7. Plugin integration and local API: The Codex local API service is driven by the built-in CLIProxyAPI sidecar; supports voice reverse proxy related entry points and request parameter descriptions.
  8. Batch management: Some platforms support tags, filtering, export, batch deletion, and batch refresh.

Supported platforms: Antigravity IDE, Codex, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, Kiro, Cursor, Grok CLI, CodeBuddy, CodeBuddy CN, Qoder, Trae, TRAE SOLO, Trae CN, TRAE SOLO CN, Zed, ZCode.

How to use: This tool is a local desktop application. It does not require separately registering platform accounts, nor does it rely on a project-built cloud storage account list. Installation methods include: manually downloading the installation package for the corresponding system from GitHub Releases (macOS is .dmg, Windows is .msi, .exe, or x64-portable.zip, Linux is .deb, .rpm, or .AppImage); macOS can also be installed viaHomebrew. In the app, you can set the theme, language, and automatic refresh interval, and manage platform configuration and quota alerts.

Applicable scenarios: Users who need to frequently switch accounts among multiple AI IDE platforms; users who want to run multiple account instances in parallel at the same time to handle different projects; users who need centralized monitoring of quota usage and reset times across platforms; users who want to wake up models on a schedule and trigger quota resets in advance.

Limitations and notes:

  • This project uses the CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license by default, allowing use and modification for personal learning, research, and non-commercial scenarios; any unauthorized commercial use is not allowed. Commercial use requires contacting the author to obtain separate written commercial authorization and a quotation.
  • Data is mainly stored locally, such as in directories like ~/.cockpit_tools; the development environment uses ~/.cockpit_tools_dev, and COCKPIT_TOOLS_DATA_DIR can be used to specify a custom directory.
  • Grok CLI credentials are not encrypted; the access token/refresh token are stored locally in plaintext JSON, mainly relying on operating system account isolation and local file permission protection.
  • WebSocket is by default only accessible locally, listening on 127.0.0.1, with default port 19528, and can be disabled or changed in the settings; when plugin integration is not used, it is recommended to disable the WebSocket service.
  • Network-related scenarios include OAuth login, token refresh, quota queries, version update checks, and other official API requests.
  • Officially supported platforms are macOS, Windows, and Linux; the Windows portable package requires Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime.
  • If macOS reports that the app is damaged or cannot be opened, you can remove the quarantine attribute via the command line or still open it in System Settings.
  • Other features, fees, prices, platform details, or effects not explicitly stated in the materials are not provided for now.
