About this tool

ZeroDust aims to solve a common problem: ordinary transfers cannot send the entire native balance, because paying the transfer fee requires using the token being sent. ZeroDust can transfer out the wallet's entire native Gas balance, making the wallet's final balance exactly 0 wei. It supports same-chain transfers or cross-chain bridging to any address, and provides an online service (zerodust.xyz), API (https://api.zerodust.xyz)和开发者文档(zerodust.xyz/docs)。

Main capabilities:

  • Sponsored chain (EIP-7702): the wallet signs a SweepIntent and two EIP-7702 authorizations (one delegating to the ZeroDust contract, and another subsequently removing it). The ZeroDust sponsor executes the sweep and pays the Gas, with the fee reimbursed from the swept balance. The contract runs as the wallet, and rolls back unless the balance ends up exactly 0.
  • Keyless MetaMask: MetaMask's advanced permissions (ERC-7715) grant ZeroDustPermissionRouter a one-time allowance per chain; a single EIP-712 signature covers all chains. The router redeems the allowance, requires the balance to be exactly 0, and settles like the contract. Supports 16 chains.
  • Direct chain (no EIP-7702): the wallet sends its own traditional transaction, sized precisely to the wei by the API planner (21 chains). On OP stack chains with L1 data fees, it is handled via ZeroDustGuard; on ZK stack chains, Gas is paid by the ZeroDust paymaster.
  • Arrival assets: the target chain's native Gas, carried by whichever of Relay, Across (ETH to ETH), Stargate, or Gas.zip delivers the most. For a few chains whose coins have no Gas bridge support, delivery is in token form (Mitosis, Endurance, Intuition, Telos), which will be clearly stated in the quote. On request, the sweep can also enter the chain's own Ethereum bridge, to be claimed later by the recipient.

How to use:

  • Query: the hosted MCP server requires no installation, and any MCP client can connect to query whether an address has stranded funds and the recovery cost. Read-only, holds no keys.
  • Sweep: requires explicit opt-in and a signing key, and supports four ways of providing the key, avoiding raw keys appearing in configuration files. Funds can only go to the agent's own address, unless ZERODUST_ALLOWED_DESTINATIONS specifies otherwise.
  • Dry run: all sweep tools and SDK sweeps accept a dryRun parameter, obtain real quotes, generate three real signatures, but stop before submission, without broadcasting or moving balances. There is no testnet mode; dryRun provides the same confidence as production.
  • Agent credentials: read-only tools require no credentials. Agents can register via zerodust_register_api_key tool or call directly to self-issue a key to increase the quota.

Use cases:

  • Recovery of leftover Gas funds after multi-chain operations (arbitrage, bridging, testing, deployment).
  • Unattended AI agents avoid continuous fund leakage.
  • Need to precisely zero out the wallet balance to fully exit a certain blockchain.

Limitations and security:

  • The contract is immutable: no admin functions, no upgrades, no pausing (the paymaster owner can only change its approver and withdraw floating funds). The sponsor address of the sweep contract is fixed in its bytecode.
  • Fees: 1% of the swept value, minimum $0.05, maximum $0.50; for balances below $1 a 5% fee is charged, with no minimum. Plus sweep Gas (and L1 data fees on rollups) and cross-chain bridge fees. The signed maxTotalFeeWei sets the upper limit of the fee that can be charged.
  • Non-custodial: each sweep is an atomic transaction of the wallet itself.
  • The signed intent sets the fee cap and specifies the target; for bridging routes, routeHash (keccak256(callData)) binds the signature to that exact call.
  • Every sponsored transaction is simulated before being sent.
  • Uses ERC-7201 namespaced storage to avoid contract nonce conflicts with other EIP-7702 applications.
  • 7 rounds of internal security review, 16 issues found and fixed; the contract tests drive real EIP-7702 delegation and perform mutation verification. It has not been externally audited, and there is currently no funding for an audit. See contracts/SECURITY.md and contracts/SECURITY_REPORT.md for details.

Supported chains: 52 sponsored chains (generated by the live API, GET https://api.zerodust.xyz/chains)。21 direct chains (GET https://api.zerodust.xyz/direct/chains):Flare、Cronos、Rootstock、Telos、XDC、Fuse、Monad、Lens、Boba、zkSync Era, Flow EVM, HyperEVM, Metis, Vana, Gravity, Abstract, Immutable zkEVM, Etherlink, Avalanche, Blast and Ethereal. The target chains are any EVM chains where a bridge can deliver native Gas (GET /destinations?fromChainId=), over 100 from Base.
