Fanvaiy is a publishing platform for independent online magazines and newspapers, aimed at independent media, small newsrooms, and teams that want to publish content under their own brand. Its core positioning is to give independent publishers enterprise-grade news CMS editorial capabilities without an enterprise-grade budget and without writing code.
In terms of purpose, Fanvaiy is used to create and run online magazines, digital newspapers, or independent news sites. Users can publish content on their own domain, use their own brand, and are not forced to use the platform's subdomain. The platform supports multilingual publishing, including English, Dhivehi, and Hindi, with more languages planned.
Its main capabilities cover several stages: editing, publishing, growth, and monetization:
Editing tools: Provides a multi-author editing environment with rich text formatting (headings, bold, quotes, lists, callout boxes), images and galleries (with captions and credits), YouTube link embeds, and embeds of posts from X, Facebook, and Instagram. AI-assisted drafting can be done directly in the editor: describe a topic or paste an outline to generate a first draft, and paragraphs can also be drafted, expanded, or condensed.
AI features: Supports AI-assisted article drafting, as well as an audio feature that turns any article into AI narration. The audio narration feature is labeled experimental, runs on the platform's own voice service, limits and voices may change, and the feature may be modified or removed.
SEO and analytics: Built-in SEO tools provide metadata, sitemaps, and fast loading. Real-time analytics can track reader numbers, unique visitors, and engagement, using a privacy-friendly approach that does not track users and visitors, does not sell data, and does not display ads.
Team collaboration: Authors and editors can be invited to collaborate in real time, assign roles, track changes, and publish content as a team.
Themes and templates: Provides beautiful, minimal themes and templates suitable for magazines, news sites, and editorial content. All themes and templates are free to use.
Newsletters: Built-in newsletter functionality lets users send content directly to subscribers without third-party tools or extra billing.
API and integrations: Provides a simple API for developers to retrieve content programmatically and build custom frontends, apps, or syndication. Each site has its own webhook in the site settings in the dashboard, which can connect to Outrank, n8n, Zapier, Make, or custom scripts, so that new articles are published to the site as posts, either going live instantly or entering a review queue.
Paid articles: The Paid Posts feature is currently in beta. Authors can lock individual articles behind a one-time payment and charge readers directly. AuthorsSet the price of each article yourself, and readers pay once for permanent access. 80% of each sale goes to the author, and the platform retains 20% for processing and platform costs. Integrated Stripe secure checkout, no subscriptions, no recurring billing, no third-party tools. Provides a real-time revenue dashboard, payments are handled by the team, and automated payouts are coming soon.
How to use: After users register, they can start for free, no credit card required. Choose a theme and template, set your own domain, invite team members, and start writing and publishing. The platform requires no server management and no coding.

- Professional plan: for small teams and growing blogs, includes 100 image uploads, 200 publishes, 3,000 article archive, 30 audio narrations (experimental), 100,000 AI tokens, remove Fanvaiy branding.
- Growth plan: for teams that need more capabilities, includes 2,500 image uploads, 500 publishes, unlimited archive, 100 audio narrations (experimental), 250,000 AI tokens. Social media integration is marked as experimental, depends on APIs provided by Facebook and X, and may change, stop working, or be removed as their rules or access permissions change; publishing to X is currently paused.
- Business plan: for large newsrooms and enterprises, includes 5,000 image uploads, 600 publishes, 300 audio narrations (experimental), 500,000 AI tokens.
