AutoContent API is a REST API platform for content automation. Its core purpose is to convert content from a single source into multiple finished formats. Through one API, users can convert PDFs, URLs, YouTube videos, documents, or raw text into podcasts, videos, infographics, slides, quizzes, and research reports, among others.
Main capabilities
Content generation: Each request returns a finished output that can be published directly or passed to other systems, covering podcasts and audio, videos and short video clips, infographics and slides, and in-depth research and structured outputs.
Podcast generation: Supports NotebookLM-style AI podcast generation, and can generate multilingual (more than 50 languages, including English, Spanish, Russian, Chinese, Hindi, Portuguese, etc.) and multi-voice podcast conversations, suitable for interview-style content. Supports custom cloned voices or selecting advanced voice options, and can adjust tone, pacing, and energy levels.
Video generation: Can convert articles, blogs, reports, podcasts, and in-depth research into AI-generated videos, with support for customizable avatars and automatic subtitles. Provides a vertical 9:16 format, suitable for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts, and can generate 60-second short videos. Supports using custom scripts or having AI generate scripts from the content, and can use default avatars or create custom avatars.
Structured output: Can automatically generate Q&A content, learning materials, interactive quizzes, tables of contents, timelines, briefing documents, and more.
Notebook workspace: Provides persistent notebooks for saving sources and questions. Each dedicated license provides 200 notebooks, 100 sources per notebook, and 200 source-based questions per rolling 24 hours. Notebooks are billed separately from content generation credits.
Real-time social media content: Can automatically generate podcasts from real-time social media feeds such as X (Twitter) and Reddit, analyzing context, sentiment, images, and content from shared links. This feature requires a Pro or Enterprise plan.
Automatic distribution: Podcasts can be published instantly to Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube Music, as well as more than 20 platforms including Google Podcasts, Stitcher, Overcast, and Pocket Casts, with automatic handling of RSS feeds, metadata optimization, platform-specific formats, and compliance requirements.
Integrations: Supports Make.com and Zapier integrations, enabling no-code connections to 3000+ apps to automate content generation and distribution.
How to use
Users submit source content (PDF, URL, document, video, or text) through the REST API, choose the target output format, and the API returns the finished content. Users can also use the persistent notebook workspace to manage sources and questions. The platform provides a dashboard to manage the entire podcast workflow, including content creation, scheduling, and distribution. Supports setting daily or weekly publishing cadences to automatically fill the content pipeline.
Use cases
These include: converting blog posts into podcast episodes; generating audio from social media content; turning educational content into audio (meeting notes into audio briefings, academic papers into summaries, course materials into audio lectures); converting e-commerce product descriptions into voice ads; data analysis and automation (financial market summaries, market insights, sports data recaps); creating multilingual podcast series; generating short videos for social media distribution; automating email marketing content; converting technical PDFs into searchable Q&A knowledge bases, and more.
Limitations
The real-time social media feed feature requires a Pro or Enterprise plan. The notebook workspace is billed separately from content generation credits. Regarding specific pricing, the materials mention that plans start at 29 euros per month, but do not provide detailed pricing, credit limits, and a complete feature comparison for each plan. Some features, such as AI avatars, are labeled as "coming soon" in the explainer video.
