About this tool

Purpose

The Verilex Data MCP Server (@verilex/mcp-server) is used to let AI agents access 20 structured datasets provided by Verilex Data through the Model Context Protocol (MCP). It is aimed at developers and users who need to query government, business, crypto, and prediction market data within agent workflows.

Main Capabilities

The server provides the following datasets:

Government and Business

  • NPI Providers — 9M+ U.S. healthcare providers
  • SEC Filings — EDGAR filings, updated every 15 minutes
  • Weather Data — NOAA GHCN-Daily observations
  • PACER Courts — federal court case metadata
  • OTC Companies — shell company risk scoring and analysis
  • Trademarks — USPTO registrations (coming soon)
  • Patents — 1.6M+ U.S. patent grants
  • Gov Contracts — federal award intelligence
  • Company Intelligence — cross-dataset profiles and signals
  • Economic Indicators — FRED data, releases, and surprises

Crypto Intelligence

  • DeFi Liquidation Signals — multi-chain risk monitoring
  • OFAC Sanctions — wallet and name screening
  • Whale Tracking — high-balance wallet monitoring
  • Address Labels — risk scoring and wallet attribution
  • Token Holders — holder rankings and concentration
  • DEX Trades — swap-level flow analysis

Prediction Markets

  • PM Smart Money — top Polymarket wallet signals
  • PM Arbitrage — AI-driven cross-platform spreads
  • PM Resolution — resolution source tracking
  • PM Microstructure — order book depth and liquidity

All high-frequency datasets support ?since=ISO8601 change subscription queries, returning only records updated after a given timestamp, making it easy for agents to poll efficiently without repeatedly fetching unchanged data.

Usage

Add the server to your MCP client configuration (such as Claude Desktop, VS Code, Cursor, etc.).

Verilex uses the x402 protocol for pay-per-query, settled via USDC on the Base chain. Free endpoints (stats, samples) can be used without payment. Paid endpoints return HTTP 402 along with payment requirements.

Each paid response includes the following response headers:

  • X-Data-Stale: true|false
  • X-Data-Last-Updated: ISO 8601 timestamp
  • X-Data-Age-Seconds: number

Environment variables: the specific environment variable names and values are not provided in the material.

Use Cases

Suitable for scenarios that need to integrate the above structured data into AI agent workflows, such as querying healthcare provider information, SEC filings, court cases, weather, patents, government contracts, economic indicators, crypto on-chain signals, and prediction market data in conversations or automated processes.

Limitations

  • Paid endpoints require x402 protocol payment using USDC on the Base chain.
  • The Trademarks dataset is marked as "coming soon."
  • Specific environment variables, installation commands, and complete configuration examples are not yet provided in the material.
