About this tool

Product Positioning

Jaaz bills itself as "the world's first open-source multimodal creative assistant," an alternative to Canva and Manus, emphasizing privacy-first and local usability. Its core form is a creative agent on an infinite canvas, aimed at scenarios such as design, editing, image and video generation, poster and storyboard production, and it provides a canvas board for rapid iteration and layout publishing.

Main Capabilities

  • One-sentence image and video generation: Turn a single prompt into a complete image or video within seconds, supporting models such as GPT-4o, Midjourney, VEO3, Kling, veo3, seedance, with automatic prompt optimization and multi-round refinement capabilities.
  • Magic Canvas and Magic Video prompt-free creation: Adopts a LEGO-like approach, supporting simple sketches and free combination, with AI understanding and generating instantly; no need to write prompts; you can simply describe steps on the video, and the AI generates according to the steps.
  • Infinite canvas and visual storyboard: Use the infinite canvas to plan scenes, visualize linked layouts, manage media assets, and support real-time collaboration.
  • Intelligent AI agent system: Insert objects, transfer styles, and control logic through chat; can be paired with local (ComfyUI) and cloud models; maintains multi-character consistency.
  • Flexible deployment and local assets: Supports fully offline or hybrid mode (Ollama + API); built-in media and prompt library; cross-platform support for Windows and macOS.
  • Privacy and security: Local-first, data does not leave the device; open source and tracking-free; safe for commercial use, with data owned by the user.

How to Use

  1. Download: You can get the installation package from https://github.com/11cafe/jaaz/releases or visit https://jaaz.app/ to download.
  2. Use cloud API models: Click the "Log In" button in the upper right corner of the official website homepage to seamlessly use a variety of powerful APIs with a low-cost plan.
  3. Chat with the agent: You can directly ask the agent to generate a story or storyboard.
