About this tool

Tenhaw is a London-headquartered UK AI consulting and delivery partner, registered in England and Wales. Its core business is not simply providing advice, but auditing, designing, building, and governing agentic transformation, while also taking responsibility for running the entire project.

Purpose

Tenhaw helps organizations move AI from theory to practical delivery, restructuring around the workflows of client teams. They focus on identifying decision waits, information loss, and work steps that can be simplified, and on that basis design new operating models and AI architectures. The clients they serve cover financial services, retail/consumer goods/media, industrial/energy/infrastructure, and the public sector and government. If a client's industry is not listed, it can also be discussed through an exploratory call.

Main capabilities

Tenhaw provides five clearly scoped services:

  1. AI readiness audit: Find where AI can play a role in products, processes, operations, and software delivery, and test the most promising possibilities.
  2. Agentic proof of concept: Choose a single workflow, and have client engineers build and test a working proof of concept within 2 to 4 weeks.
  3. Agentic design team: Two senior practitioners work with the client to design the required operating model and AI architecture.
  4. Agentic build team: Three practitioners work side by side with client engineers to build and deliver AI systems, with collaborative oversight and adoption as part of delivery.
  5. Project and delivery management: Senior leads help govern delivery across teams and vendors, including projects that Tenhaw does not build.

All work is carried out by senior personnel, with no fixed on-call team. They use Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, and open-source models, choosing according to the work each model is best at, and run within the client's own infrastructure. Practitioners are screened to BS7858 standards before coming into contact with client assets, and sign written confidentiality and data processing obligations.

How to use

Clients can speak with James Rooney through a 30-minute exploratory call to discuss current problems, constraints, and unfinished ideas, and leave with a rough scope and a clearer next step, whether or not they ultimately work together. They can also contact hello@tenhaw.com or book through cal.com.

Each result is assigned a target value in monetary terms, and Tenhaw commits each month to delivering part of it and reporting actual delivery and value changes. A month without measurable value will be reported as a failed month. Code, documentation, andcredentials are held in the client's account from day one, and either party may terminate the monthly cooperation with 30 days' written notice.

Suitable scenarios

Tenhaw is suitable for organizations that need deep involvement in building rather than just advice, especially teams that want to embed AI into existing delivery processes, restructure operating models, or govern complex projects. They emphasize working paired with client teams to help client teams learn how to run and improve the systems.

Limitations

Tenhaw does not maintain a paid on-call team, so fees are based on specific scope and the personnel time required. Monthly pricing is calculated on 20 billable days, and rates exclude VAT and pre-agreed cost-based charges. Audits and proofs of concept have fixed fees for the agreed scope; other engagements are charged monthly. The materials do not provide specific price figures and require further consultation. The public sector and government sector explicitly states that its experience is limited. Some cases involve projects that have not yet been fully rolled out, such as the target operating model for HSBC's Global Payments Solutions division, planned for launch in 2026.
