Geordy AI

Geordy AI is an AI readability optimization tool for websites. It automatically generates plain-text files that AI engines can recognize for each web page, so that AI engines such as ChatGPT can obtain accurate information when answering questions about your business, while not changing the appearance of the page seen by visitors. The tool provides file generation, AI engine access monitoring, and site structure mapping. It can be integrated by simply adding a link tag to the page head, with no need to rebuild the website.

About this tool

The core purpose of Geordy AI is to make website content easier for AI engines to understand. When someone asks an AI about your business, AI engines usually guess information from pages designed for browsers, which is prone to errors. Geordy keeps a plain-text, accurate copy for each page, using file types that AI engines recognize and read, and shows which AI engines read which content. The page seen by visitors remains unchanged.

Main capabilities:

  1. File generation. Automatically generate eight file types for each page (sixteen for the Growth plan), with no need to determine yourself which format AI engines need.
  2. Access monitoring. All AI engines that have opened your files are displayed in the dashboard, including the pages read and the time. Conventional analytics tools cannot capture this type of access because Geordy distributes the files itself, so it can count them one by one.
  3. Site structure mapping. Provides a sitemap showing the connections between brands, products, locations, and main pages.
  4. File editing. You can edit any file yourself, or let Geordy automatically generate all files based on the sitemap.

How to use: set it up once, with no need to rebuild. There are three steps, two of which are completed by the user:

  1. Create a free account and provide a domain, or paste a sitemap to import all pages at once. No credit card is required, and nothing is installed on the site.
  2. Geordy automatically reads each page, determines the content, and writes matching AI-readable files. New pages are automatically discovered, and all content is refreshed at the frequency you choose.
  3. Add a link tag to the page head to let AI tools know the file location. It is just a link, not a script. What visitors see is exactly the same as before.

Use cases: businesses and website operators that want AI engines to provide accurate information when answering questions about their own business.

Limitations: official materials do not provide pricing, a list of specific file formats, the names of specific AI engines supported, the specific quota limits of the free account, or other technical requirements besides the link tag.
