How to Use

After users upload videos, Cutsio automatically completes indexing, transcription, and summarization. Users can search the library for people, dialogue, objects, and scenes, ask questions about videos through AI chat, select clips, and export them as FCPXML/EDL for an NLE. They can also use share links to let clients or team members review and upload footage. One-click import from platforms such as Google Drive is supported.

Limitations

  • RealMedia (.rm, .rmvb), Windows Media Video (.wmv), FLV, 3GP, and proprietary DVR container formats are not supported.
  • Storage is measured by footage duration (hours): Pro includes 30 storage hours and 5 visual indexing hours; Studio includes 150 storage hours and 25 indexing hours; Enterprise includes unlimited storage hours and 100 indexing hours.
  • ProRes uploads are limited to Studio and Enterprise; ProRes + RAW pairing is an Enterprise feature; downloadable conform assets for ARRI/RED RAW original files require Enterprise support, and ingestion services are priced separately.
  • Free tier upload request links have a 2GB limit, expire after a few days, have no previews or transcriptions, and require re-downloading to use the files.
  • Archive storage, additional visual indexing, additional users, DRM asset protection, high-bitrate processing, and more are priced separately as production add-ons.
  • Video ownership belongs to the user; after upload it is used only for processing, indexing, and transcription, and can be deleted at any time.
